The daughter of a modest merchant and his wife, A'nh at a young age showed a
remarkable aptitude for athletics, and competed in a number of sports at school, from swimming to
gymnastics to soccer. She also studied dance and Vo-Thuat martial arts. Her success in these endeavors
helped support her family with government scholarships and stipends.
In her latter teen years, A'nh began competing in local beauty pageants. At the age of 20, she had
advanced to...and won...the Miss Vietnam competition, and she went on to be a Top Five finalist in that
year's Miss World contest. Her pageant success brought her national fame which resulted in acting roles
and even a few pop singles. But her real interest became professional wrestling, which was just starting
to gain widespread popularity in Vietnam. In short order, Dao became the first woman crowned as the
Vietnamese Ladies Champion, and she became a national heroine and a veritable folk hero, particularly
for women.
After several years of dominating the sport in Vietnam, A'nh undertook several extended tours of Japan,
South Korea and the Philippines, all with tremendous success. Now, she seeks to make her name and
find her fame in the West here in FAWN.
