‘Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked’ confirmed the bad news so the Orlando faithful sprang to their feet to properly denigrate FAWN’s resident tabloid terrors. Smirking even before they stepped through the curtain, Harker and Murray each kissed their fingertips pageant style, then raised ’em to the rafters to better tease the Sheeple.
MINA MURRAY:
LUCY HARKER:
For tonight‘s battle against a pair of Emily‘s drooling lackeys, Lucy and Mina wore heartstoppin’ fightin’ one-pieces adorned with high cut hips, a plunging neckline and a light dusting of silver glitter -- Lucy’s was a deep threatening blue with matching white pads and boots while Mina’s was gleaming white, her boots and pads coordinated to match Harker’s togs. While the togs were standard issue for the cruel Californian’s, Lucy Harker drew several surprised comments from the crowd, as the longtime brunette had recently switched to a dark, almost honey blonde. Though not identical to Mina’s lighter, almost platinum locks, the double barreled blast of blonde held the promise (or perhaps threat) of even more wicked, referee distracting shenanigans in the near future.
“I think they like the new look, Lucy, dear.” Mina cooed over the roar of several thousand mouth-breathers.
“As do I, Mina.” Harker replied. “But the makeover won’t feel truly complete until those Black Court toads are slumbering beneath our haunches.”
“Well then, let’s go accessorize, shall we?”
With the evening’s activities set, Scandalous started down the aisle in a hip-swiveling lockstep that managed to silence the ire of even their staunchest detractors, at least for the time it took them to pass by. When they reached the base of the aisle Harker hopped onto the apron, then turned around to face her partner without sparing anyone else so much as a glance.
Basking in the moment when all eyes turned in her direction, Mina exploded into a bounding run and dove between Lucy’s legs before popping to her feet in the center of the squared circle. Arms stretched over the top strand, Lucy dipped her hips and tumbled backward, rolling herself into the ring. She landed just in front of Mina and tilted her head back. For a moment they were the biggest babyfaces on the roster as those assembled urged them to ’JUST KISS, DAMMIT!’ but no, Scandalous drew out the tease for another night as they rolled their eyes and rewarded the trogolodytes with a pair of ‘you should be so lucky’ smirks. With no particular urge to head to a corner just yet, Lucy and Mina headed to their corner and turned glittering eyes to the stage to see just what pair of pawns Emily had sent in her stead.
Careful to keep himself off to one side, just in case Scandalous decided to jump the bell, the Announcer called, “And their opponents, introducing first. representing the Black Court, hailing from Glen Echo Michigan, she stands at five feet seven inches tall and weighs in at one hundred and thirty-one pounds. They call her the Raven… LENORE LEMARCHAND!”
Kula Shaker’s ‘Hush’ hit the speakers and a great deal of handmade ’Ravens’ went up, their number seeming to grow with each new appearance. Lemarchand’s ’Unkindness’ cheered long and loud when the Fair & Radiant Maiden brushed through the curtain a few seconds later. Allowing herself the faintest of smiles, Lenore greeted her followers with a Raven of her own, then pulled it apart and reached behind her back to produce a microphone.
LENORE LEMARCHAND:
“Hello Lucy, hello Mina. You’re looking as smug and self-satisfied as ever, I see.” Scandalous only smirked, though Murray did invite the brunette to come to the ring by her lonesome.” Lemarchand ignored the offer, at least for the moment. “I would wager a great deal of your present condition stems from your enjoyment of helping upend the Three’s record setting reign and setting the gold on the Kane sisters. Strategically it was an understandable, even brilliant choice, as you’ve beaten Maeve and Moira on numerous occasions and everyone in this building knows there’s no way in hell you two scavengers could hang with an combination of Pandy, Addy or Ashley.” The crowd agreed, Scandalous did not, as indicated by the scoffing and matching set of middle fingers directed to the stage. “There was only one problem with your plan, ladies. It ended the Three’s reign too early. Such alterations to the Great Game are frowned upon by the Black Court, especially when made by a pair of self-serving witches such as yourself.”
That was enough for Lucy, who snatched the microphone from the Announcer and stormed up to the edge of the ring. “You don’t like it, bytch? Come down here and do something about it. Bring your friends if you’d… oh wait, you don’t have any friends now, do you? Susan’s too busy saving little sister’s ass, Ashley’s on the shelf, Pandora and Pappy want singles titles again and Emily, well, no one really knows where the f*ck she is, isn’t that right? So where the hell does that leave you? You’re dumb, but even you can’t be dumb enough to try to take us on by yourself.”
Mina strolled up beside her, took the mic and put it to her lips. “Of course, you’re more than welcome to try.”
Lenore answered their sweetly vicious smiles with one of her own. “Oh, I’ll do more than try. But first I’d like to introduce everyone to our newest member. We have a Queen, we have an Ace and we have a Raven. Now we have a Peacekeeper.” Emily’s Lady in Waiting stepped to one side and extended an arm toward the curtain. Silence for a moment, then ‘Heroes’ rumbled to life and the FAWN Arena reeled back on its heels as Becky Clayton stepped into view.

BECKY CLAYTON:
Moving into place beside the brunette, Bex offered the audience a knowing grin as she raised her hands overhead to replicate Lenore’s sigil. After a moment she pulled it apart and transformed her mitts into a pair of pistols that she pointed at the Scandalous duo. Then she snapped both wrists up and the crowd roared ‘BANG!’, much to the blonde’s relief. “Seems as if they’re still with you, soldier.” Lenore noted. “Shall we show them just why Emily worked so hard to secure your services?”
Bex nodded, raised a fist and bumped knuckles with the Raven. “We shall. May I take point?”
“Of course.”
Clayton set off at once, the imposing robo-babe making quick time down the aisle. For this first mission with her new squad, the former World Champion wore a black & green camouflage two-piece with tie-sided bottoms and an impossible to ignore ladder / double helix of lycra that ran from the top of her waistband all the way to the southern border of her low-cut sports bra. The gear was completed with flat black pads and boots and few wraps of dark green wrist-tape.
A few steps behind, Lenore wore sporty bikini bottoms hued in a purplish-black and emblazoned with a faint design that careful inspection revealed to be feathers. Her top was halter style, with the color and pattern matching her briefs. Elbow and kneepads were matte black, the latter still obscured by loose, bell-flared 'leggings' that started just south of mid-thigh and dropped to ankle length. Those leggings were also black and featured a stylized version of Lemarchand’s raven insignia done in stark white. Her look was finished with shiny black boots and purple wrist tape that matched her togs.
Quickening her pace to catch up with Clayton, the new tandem broke into a short sprint that took them under the bottom rope in headlong dive. Lenore ended up in front, the brunette popping to her knees to raise the Raven again while Becky stood behind her, the Camouflage Crusher spreading the finger guns wide before once again honing in on Lucy & Mina. More BANG’s from the throng, followed by cheers as Lemarchand hopped to boot leather and walked West’s newest soldier back to the far corner.
No dissent among the Black Court when the bell sounded, Lenore nodded to the new recruit and then stepped out onto the apron, allowing Becky the honor of first blood against the women who’d helped end the Three’s record setting reign. The arrangement was just fine with Clayton, she was practically itching to prove herself all over again for the FAWNatics and perhaps more importantly, her new teammates. Eyes locked on Scandalous territory, the Army of One Hot Chick marched for the center of the ring.
Simultaneously surprised and unimpressed by the Raven’s revelation, Lucy & Mina conversed behind the latter’s obscuring palm until Carpenter cleared his throat and said, “Match is live, ladies. One of you needs to step onto the apron.” Murray started to offer the sharp side of her tongue, but stopped when Harker laid a hand on her shoulder. “Not worth the effort dear, not when there’s a rabid dog-face headed our way. Take a breather for now, I’ll deal with the temp.”
“Don’t smack ALL of the ugly off her, Luce.” Mina chided as she vaulted over the ropes. “I’ll get bored with nothing to kick.”
Already headed out of the corner, Harker grinned but didn’t look back. “I’m sure my hand would go numb long before accomplishing such a goal.” Most women would’ve approached a multi-time champion with at least a semblance of deference, especially one that’d recently aligned herself with an organization as formidable as the Black Court. Lucy Harker would be the first to tell you that she was most certainly not like most women, indeed she exuded disdain as easily as her contemporaries drew breath. So it wasn’t at all surprising when she stopped a few steps shy of the powerful blonde to favor her with a critical up n’ down glance.
“Sooooooo… let me get this straight. Pandora decides she’s got better things to do, and Emily’s solution is to replace her with the woman she pounded into sludge over and over again? Isn’t your fearless leader supposed to be a genius or some--”

Clayton unleashed a sawed-off shotgun blast of a right hand that slammed into Harker’s chin with a cringe-inducing THWHAP! Lucy’s hands dropped to her sides and she crumpled to the deck in slow motion, the newly-minted blonde landing with one hand braced against the mat and the other pressed to her throbbing chin. Becky didn’t even shake the tingle out, she just kissed her knuckles and raised ‘em high overhead as she smirked down at Lucy. “Emily’s far more than a genius, cupcake. And I’m far more than whatever you thought I was before. I’d be happy to show you just how much more after you’re done picking your teeth--”
Harker kipped to her feet and lashed out a hand to rake the Courtier’s eyes only to snarl in irritation when Clayton snatched her wrist. Far from put out, Lucy flattened her free hand into a paddle, reared back for a big ol’ Bytch Slap, then pivoted her hips and drove the broadest part of her thigh up into Becky’s midriff. Clayton grunted, then snarled when the Scandalous lass followed through on the feinted Slap AND the delayed Eye Rake! Such tawdry tactics brought a warning from Al and a complaint from Lenore, not that Harker paid attention to either as she snagged Becky’s wrist and slung her into the ropes with an Irish--strike that, the Camouflage Crusher dug in her heels and sent Lucy to the ropes in her place so easily it was almost disconcerting.

Mina looked calm and Lucy downright amused as the latter hopped onto the second strand and launched backward, twisting sideways in mid-air to hit Becky square across the chest with a ‘SMECK!’ The Rebound Crossbody found the target with no issue whatsoever, that the target refused to budge, that was the heart of the matter. Holding the squirming battler tight across her chest, Becky turned to face Mina and offered her a sly wink. “Gonna need bigger firepower, cutie.” Murray suggested something anatomically impossible so Clayton got back to the task at hand by slinging the blonde up onto her left shoulder like she was little more than a bag of leaves. No stranger to tag team wrestling despite the brand new partner, Bex showed veteran instincts in wheeling around to her own corner before a running start put her on one knee and THAWHAMMED Harker down flat on her spine.

The Running Power Slam left Becky in perfect position to try for a cover and in her BFG days she would’ve done just that. Now that she was Black Court however, the former Tag Champ palmed Lucy’s head in both hands and dragged her upright without even considering a pin. This wasn’t just a match after all. It was her coming out party as FAWN’s newest peacekeeper, not to mention a warning to all those that’d ignore the rules of the Black Queen’s Great Game. Shifting her hands south so that she gripped either side of Harker’s neck, Clayton dipped her knees and hoisted her burden all the way up, Lucy’s feet kicking frantically as she was throttled by the bigger blonde.
“C’MON CARPENTER, THAT’S A GODDAMNED CHOKE, CALL IT!” Mina shouted at the top of her lungs.
Wasn’t necessary of course, the ref noticed the infraction along with everyone else and he wasted no time tapping Clayton on the shoulder. “Enough of that, Becky. Put her down now or I’ll--”
Becky let go and took a half step forward, all the better to cinch her arms around Lucy’s waist as she returned to terra firma. She followed with a single rough squeeze, just hard enough to make Harker expel any air she might’ve drawn into her burning lungs. Then the Camouflage Courtier went low and popped her hips to hurl Lucy up, over and DOWN onto her back courtesy a huge Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Spinning to one knee immediately thereafter, Clayton ran one hand through her hair while the other settled in Lucy’s. “Want some of this?” she asked Lenore.
“Only if you’re willing to share.” the Raven answered with a smirk. That was good enough for Bex, who rose alongside Harker before extending a hand to Lemarchand. Lenore tagged in and promptly hopped into a perch on the second turnbuckle while Clayton went low and wrapped her arms around the stunned brunette’s upper thighs.
“This is BULLSHYT, Carpenter!” Murray bellowed. “How long are you gonna let them double team her?” His answer was five seconds, the same time allotted everyone else, not that Al would give voice to such information, especially not when the tag was less than two seconds old. Indeed, the Courtiers still had plenty of time when Becky muscled Lucy into the sky and Lenore took flight, the lissome brunette twisting around in a half circle just in time to THUMP a Flying Back Elbow against Lucy’s sternum. Clayton dropped her as soon as the elbow connected, it wasn’t quite a Spinebuster, but it sure didn’t sound pleasant when the Scandalous battler crashed against the canvas-sheathed plywood.

Guided by the same protocol that stopped her partner for going for the pin earlier, Lenore positioned herself between Lucy and Mina so she could beckon the blonde striking enthusiast into the squared circle. “You want to f*ck with the board, Murray? I’d love to see you try against someone who hasn’t been through a war already.”
“You’re already in a war, shyt for brains.” the blonde said pleasantly. “It just hasn’t hit home yet. It will though. Right about the first time I kick you in the mouth.”
Lemarchand tapped her chin with two fingers, got nothing but a snort from Murray and returned her attention to Harker. Happy to carry on the work started by her newest sister in arms, the Fair & Radiant Maiden hauled Lucy to boot leather, then dipped at that waist and looped her right arm over opposing midsection. Her other arm went behind the blonde’s knees, all the better to bundle her up under Lenore’s right arm. Harker kicked her legs in an attempt to fight free, but Lemarchand’s grip was strong and her usual furious efforts were much diluted in the wake of Clayton’s powerful offense. As it was she could only squirm as the elegant brunette strode to the center of the ring to lock eyes with the other half of Scandalous. “Make a move.” the Raven demanded. “I dare you, Murray.” Mina snarled, slipped one glossy gam through the ropes pulled it right back when Lenore drove her right knee up into the small of Lucy’s back. “Sure you don’t want to help her?” she taunted after another quick Kneelift. “No telling what sort of damage I could do to her back if you don’t help out.” She offered Mina a wicked smile as she THUMPED Harker’s vulnerable back with a third heavy shot. “And if I break her back, how will she ever be able to carry your no talent--”
That got Murray over the ropes real fast, so Lemarchand backed up and dropped to one knee to finally complete the Backbreaker. Tossing Harker’s groaning form aside in a flash, Lenore stood tall and stepped over her victim, all the better to go nose to nose with the fuming blonde.

“You think what we did to those three lumbering hags was bad?” Mina cooed. “They’re gonna take you out of this ring in a bucket, slut.”
Lenore didn’t bat an eye at the threat. “Keep sweet talking and you’ll leave buckets IN the ring, bytch.”
Murray chested in and Lenore did the same, the pair of lissome beauties heartbeats away from an explosion when Carpenter hurried over and slipped an arm between those taut tummies. “Step off, Lenore. Mina, back to your corner. Don’t make me ask twice.” They didn’t, though the ref noted that neither blonde or brunette exactly jumped to comply with the order.
Keeping a wary eye on Murray until she had the tag rope wrapped around her fist again, Lemarchand plunged her hands into Lucy’s hair and dragged her to boot-leather. The Scandalous blonde was only halfway there when she tucked her chin against her chest and wedged the crown of her skull in beneath Lenore’s jaw. The Jawbreaker was one of the quickest counters in pro-wrestling, yet on this night the Raven was the tiniest bit faster and she snapped a Toe Kick into Harker’s abdomen before the tag specialist could drop to her knees.
“New tricks, Lucy.” Lemarchand sniped once she’s straightened up her dark haired adversary. “Look into somMEEERRRGGHHH!” While the furthest thing from a new trick, the Low Blow proved effective as ever, as evidenced by the way Lenore crumpled around the encroaching knee. In a singles encounter Harker would’ve pounded the skinny bytch’s trunks until she couldn’t even stand, unfortunately there was also Clayton to contend with tonight and Lucy meant for her to be a non-factor until this prissy little blackbird was so much whimpering wreckage. To that end she backed off a few steps, charged forward and snatched a handful of hair. In the same breath she leapt into the air and came down on one knee, Lenore’s forehead making a heavy THWHUNK as it bounced against the posted joint.

Lemarchand rocked back on her heels and staggered hard, one hand pressed to her nose the other reaching vaguely in the direction of a concerned Clayton. “How cute, birdy thinks she’s people.” Harker clamped an Iron Claw on the Courtier’s face, another on her right breast and used both grips to bum rush Lenore into a set of strands well removed from her partner’s grasp.
Understandably dazed but not so out of it she didn’t recognize the ropes at her back, Lemarchand hooked an arm over the top and gurgled, “Breaaaaahg! Breahg it, bidge, I’m in the AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FAHK!” Harker obliged her the face claw, albeit only so she could double down on the nipple pincers, which she worked with great relish.
“All right Luce, she’s in the ropes, break it up, c’mon!” Al barked after several seconds of the teat-twisting torture. The brunette turned to him, her face a puzzled frown. “Were you saying something, Algernon? Some horrid bytch is screaming at the top of her lungs!” She rotated her wrists in opposite directions to elicit another agonized shriek from the Fair & Radiant Maiden. Carpenter didn’t waste his breath on another warning, a quick count ended Lenore’s punishment after ‘FOUR!’ more seconds. “All right, all right, all right! No need to get snippy!” Lucy huffed as she cleared off with both hands raised over her head. Turning her back on the ref without letting him get in a word, Harker strolled right over to the Court’s corner and grinned at Becky Clayton. “Let’s see, first it was Nova, then Roxie, now Lenore. Tell me dog-face, just how many partners do you intend to let down?”
Clayton growled, grabbed the top rope in both hands would’ve started over if she hadn’t noticed a bit of movement on the far side of the ring. “HEY, GET HER UNNNNGGHHH!” Lucy capitalized on the distraction by putting both boots in the blonde’s face with a Standing Dropkick that sent Bex tumbling from the apron. As for the commotion that caught Clayton’s attention in the first place, that was Mina Murray rushing down the apron to THWHACK a stiff Yakuza Kick off the side of Lenore’s unsuspecting noggin.
Knocked loose of the ropes by the brain-rattling strike, Lemarchand tottered her way toward the corner, completely unaware that Clayton was in the process of scraping herself off the floor! Lucy was aware enough for the both of them and she happily interposed herself between the Raven and her corner. With her head dipped beneath Lenore’s right arm and her own right arm cinched across the brunette’s chest, Harker snagged a handful of waistband and muscled her foe high into the air just to lay out on her stomach and THAWHAM Lenore into the canvas full force. Under no particular compulsion to drag out this farce, Harker slid across Lemarchand’s chest and hooked the far leg for…

Becky dove under the bottom rope and plowed into the cover with a low flying Shoulderblock! “GET THIS CHEATING TRAMP OUTTA HERE!” Lucy bellowed as she scrambled to her feet. “CALL HER COMMANDING OFFICER WHILE YOU’RE AT IT, I BET SHE’S AWOL!”
The Camouflage Crusher lunged for her antagonist, alas Al proved an effective roadblock, leaving Clayton to grudgingly reclaim her corner while Harker peeled Lenore off the mat. “Been waiting to humiliate you for a loooooong time, feather brain.” Lucy cooed as she helped herself to a snug Wristlock. “Mina and I are going to LOVE taking you apart piece by flat-chested piece.” Any reply Lenore might’ve made remained unsaid as the wicked lass stepped back and hurled her into the Scandalous corner. Woozy or not, Lemarchand saw Mina’s expression as she closed in and did her damndest to slow down, but about all she could manage was a drunken turn that BWUUUNGED her aching frame against the barely-padded steel. Lenore sagged, hooked an arm over the top rope and pulled herself up with every intention of decking Mina with a rude Back Elbow. That all went out the window when Lucy closed at a dead run and took off in a flying leap that THWHUMPED her ass-first into the Courtier’s chest! Lemarchand’s legs finally gave out and she collapsed to all fours, a very dangerous position with Scandalous lurking fore and aft.

Smiling to the icy-eyed blonde, Lucy smoothed back her hair, then extended her hand. “Care to join me, dear?”
“But of course.” Murray clapped herself into the fray and slipped through the ropes while Harker bent over Lenore and seized hold of her ankles. Working more carefully than she would’ve liked, Lucy turned her foe in a quarter circle, then sloooooowly pulled her up into a gorgeous, albeit questionable head stand.
Becky had battled Scandalous enough to know what Lenore was about to endure and she entreated the ref to stop the double team. “C’mon Al, get her out of there! You can’t just let ‘em beat her down!” Carpenter shot her an apologetic look. “Sorry Bex, they’re within the five second--”
‘OOOOOOHHH!’ from the crowd and “AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!” from Lemarchand as Lucy stretched her legs wide, thus allowing Mina to come off the ropes with a gorgeous vertical leap and an Axe Kick that THWHUMPED directly into the brunette’s defenseless undercarriage! Lenore collapsed out of the headstand and curled up at once, both hands wedged between her thighs as she fought to hold back tears.
Beaming, Harker and Murray exchanged a double high five over the wrecked Raven before the former took up residence on the apron and the latter treated herself to a double handful of hair. “Go on, talk your shyt now?” Mina demanded as she hauled Lenore to boot leather in a series of fits and starts. “Let’s see how tuff you are without West, Pandora and Burlingame backing your NGH! NGH! NGH!” Lemarchand found the blonde’s chin with a trio of quick Forearm Shivers, then grabbed a wrist and stepped back, meaning to hurl her opponent into a neutral corner. ‘Meant’ proved the operative words there, as Mina recovered her senses and reversed the momentum of the toss, sending Lenore to the buckles with a BWUUUNG that made her molars ache. Alas that pain quickly gave way to fresher agonies as the baleful blonde rushed in and damned near took her head off with a high knee to Courtier’s forehead.
Lenore’s neck snapped back and she sagged against the buckles but slide to a seat as Mina had claimed the top rope in both hands and perched her left foot on the middle rope. “I’m gonna scrape that pretty little face raw before I smother you out.” Murray proclaimed with a wicked grin even as she angled her right foot up and started scuffing short, abrasive kicks against the side of Lenore’s face. Lemarchand snarled, wrapped a hand around her attacker’s ankle and suffered a hard hair-pull for the trouble. Ultimately it was Al who ended the punishment, as a barked ‘FOUR!’ forced Murray to relinquish the perch or face disqualification.
On level footing again, Mina fluffed her hair then whipped around, swiping it across the brunette’s face to score extra bytchy points as she corralled her head in a Three Quarters Facelock. “Get your scrawny ass out here, bytch.” Emily’s Lady In Waiting wasn’t going anywhere of her own volition, so Mina jerked her forward and dropped to one knee, flipping Lemarchand over onto her butt with a tailbone-rattling Snapmare. Not a match ender by any means, but the unpleasant jolt kept Lemarchand’s works gummed long enough for Murray to affix her claws to the sides of Lenore’s neck! Rising up on her toes after securing the Nerve Hold, Mina sloooooooowly spread her legs into a half split, forcing the seated lovely to carry more and more of her weight. “Ask her, nerd!” Mina demanded of Al as she flipped hair out of her eyes. “See if the little birdy gives up before I rip her wings off!”
“What do you say, Lenore? Need to throw in the towel?” the ref asked from a safe distance.
Lenore grimaced, shook her head ‘no’. “The only thing I need is for Mina to lay off the coconut body lotion. She smells like spring break and sha--”

Cheers from those assembled as Lemarchand kicked free with half a tic to spare. Mina rolled her eyes in disgust, though she made no effort to hassle Carpenter about the speed of the count. Rather she rolled Lemarchand onto her belly, snatched a handful of hair and dragged her to all fours. “I do believe this one is ready for more of your charms, Lucy dear.” Murray exclaimed as she forced her brunette to crawl into the shadow of the Scandalous Corner. “Try as I might, I can’t wipe the smirk off her face. Perhaps you’ll have better luck.”
Lucy raised a hand but didn’t reach for the tag until Murray planted a foot beside each of her opponent’s hips. By the time she’d reentered the squared circle, Lenore was mired deep in a Camel Clutch, the Raven shaking her head ‘no, no, no!’ in a response that had very little to do with the pain of the hold. Running her tongue across her teeth, Harker turned around and slowly hiked up the edges of her one piece until she was showing a good three quarters of her backside. After a few teasing swats, Lucy glanced over her shoulder to taunt, “And now you’ll forget the Smell of Scandal, Nevermore!”

Breaking away from the Camel Clutch at ‘FOUR!’ Mina pointed an accusatory finger as Clayton, as the big blonde was through the ropes and headed over to stop the assault. Lemarchand twisted free of the blonde’s clutches much to the irritation of Lucy and Mina, the latter of which questioned Al’s counting via several direct challenges of his mental acuity and parentage. Temperamental though she was, Harker got it under control as soon as she’d returned her hands to the brunette’s battle damp hair. “None of those other losers can save you now, Lenny. Not Emily, not Sue, not Pandora and especially not that National Guard reject in the other corner. They’re gonna have to sit there with the rest of the Sheeple while we tear you into tiny, sobbing pieces!” She ended the threat with a derisive Bytch Slap and an emphatic Irish Whip that BWUUUNGED the Raven spine-first against the Scandalous corner.
Strong knees finally undone by the collision, Lemarchand dropped to her butt and hooked an arm over the bottom rope to keep from slumping over entirely. The Scandalous ladies exchanged nods, then Harker wheeled around and strutted over to Clayton, her mouth already running a mile a minute. Meanwhile, Murray dropped to the floor, wrapped an arm around Lenore’s throat and bore down, throttling her with an illegal choke! Carpenter’s back was turned of course, as he was in the midst of trying to get Lucy away from the Court’s corner. Becky was similarly occupied, though the increase in crowd noise and the thrashing of Lemarchand’s legs got her attention after several long seconds. “Dammit Al, get over there! She’s choking her!”
The ref turned to confirm only to scramble aside as Lucy raced by him and THWHONKED her right knee between Lenore’s eyes! Knocked loopy by the Panic Attack, Lemarchand rolled / slopped to all fours and crawled out of the corner, the Fair & Radiant Maiden STILL trying to make her way to Becky’s outstretched hand. Harker didn’t try to stop her, she’d already slipped through the ropes and vaulted into a crouch on the top, a perch she occupied while Lenore sloooooowly regained her feet. But being upright was no guarantee of freedom, not when Lemarchand was doubled over with hands on her knees, the decimated Raven too spent to realize she was facing a neutral corner and not her partner.
Back in the Scandalous corner, Mina swatted Lucy’s flank to bring herself into the fray a heartbeat before Harker leapt out into the void and crashed down with a Frog Splash directly across the other brunette’s exposed back! Simultaneously cringing and apoplectic, Murray sprang to her feet and went straight for the Camouflage Crusher. “ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME? GET BACK TO YOUR CORNER OR WE’LL RUIN YOUR ASS!”
Becky spread her arms wide and didn’t move even though Al was pleading with her to get back to the corner. “Don’t worry about it, Al.” she said without taking her eyes off Mina, “the tabloid hack thinks she can kick my ass. I’d like to see her try.”
With all eyes elsewhere at the moment, Lucy slithered under the bottom rope and claimed Lenore’s head as her own. “Up we go, bytch.” she taunted the insensate brunette. “Let’s see just how much you can NNNNGGGGHHHHHH!” Lenore reared back and THWHUMPED a short, vicious Uppercut between her attacker’s thighs! Harker ‘eeeeeped’ started to back away, then let out an agonized shriek as Lemarchand shifted to a white-knuckled claw grip on her undercarriage.

Lucy couldn’t answer with anything other than a hiss, but the commotion drew the attention of everyone else in the ring. Dismissing Clayton without another thought (which was fine considering Al devoted himself to shepherding her back to the Court’s side of town) Mina made a beeline for the recovered Raven. “Bytch, let her go right now or I swear I’ll UNNNNNGGGHH!”
Lemarchand abandoned the Crotch Claw in favor of a trunks and tresses grip that let her spin / sling Lucy into Mina’s gut in a short but effective Spear. Mina doubled over atop her encroaching partner, as of yet unaware that she’d curled her left arm around Lucy’s head in an unintentional Front Facelock. “Were you saying something, princess?” Mina raised her head and immediately regretted it, as Lenore leap-frogged over Lucy and hooked her right leg across the blonde’s throat in a move straight out of Calliope’s playbook. The Hooking Leg Lariat proved a two’fer as Murray tightened her grip on Harker’s head in hopes of keeping herself vertical only to yank her friend down with a DDT that THWONKED her head against the deck!
The crowd came to life as Scandalous collapsed beside one another, unfortunately Lenore did not, as the burst of offense had dipped very deep in her well of reserves. “C’MON LENORE!” Becky practically screamed at the prone brunette. “SUCK IT UP AND GET OVER HERE!” She emphasized the demand with a round of rhythmic clapping that was quickly picked up by the rest of the FAWNatics.
Even then Lemarchand didn’t stir until Al reached ‘FIVE!’ and she didn’t make it to her feet until ‘EIGHT!’ Finally catching the blonde’s eye, Lenore nodded and headed for home in a determined, albeit zombie-like shuffle.

Murray yowled and collapsed in a heap, the Scandalous blonde so absorbed in this brand new anguish that she didn’t hear the patter of approaching footsteps. But oh did she ever feel it when Lenore grabbed the top rope and launched herself into a handstand. Becky slapped her shoulder to the delight of the crowd, however she didn’t enter the field until Lemarchand swung back down and THWHUMPED her heels into the blonde’s crotch!

Elsewhere, Mina Murray lined up her shot, once again seeking the Super Kick denied her earlier in the “NNNNGGGGHHHHH!”

Cursing aloud as Mina hit the deck in a face-first skid that sent her sliding under the bottom rope, Lucy doubled down on her own hooks and hoisted the bigger battler up, over and DOWN onto the mat with a Scandalous Slam!

This ignorance was destroyed by a scathing bolt of understanding when she spun her back into the buckles and was promptly THWHUMPED in the tits by a huge Front Dropkick!
Breathless in the wake of such a heavy stroke, Lemarchand cinched an arm around the top rope to keep from plopping down on her ass. “Fine, stand as long as you can.” Lucy sniffed. “Just means I’m a little sweatier when it comes time to ride your face.” A quick Bitch Slap made for the perfect punctuation as Harker wheeled around and jogged to the opposite side of the squared circle. Offering a preening smile and a pair of middle fingers to the jeering crowd, Lucy raced forward, threw herself down in a flawless handspring and bounced through one, two ‘OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!’
Becky Clayton charged in from the left, lowered a shoulder and folded Lucy in half with a Spear while the Scandalous brat’s toes were pointed at the rafters! Reduced to smoldering rubble by the bunker-busting blow, Harker didn’t even groan when the Camouflage Crusher rolled her onto her stomach and crossed both heels against her tush in a taut ‘X’. Then she braced a shin between Lucy’s legs, bent down and claimed the brunette’s biceps.
“LENORE!” she bellowed. “YOU GOOD?”
The Raven had been better, but that didn’t keep her quiet for long. “Yeah. Stretch her out!” Clayton did just that, reefing back on Lucy’s biceps to peel her upper body off the mat at an unpleasant angle. Clayton tossed the leg aside, popped to her feet and raised a fist to the crowd as the Announcer confirmed, “Ladies and gentlemen, your winners via pin-fall… BECKY CLAYTON AND LENORE LEMARCHAND!”
As for Lenore, she hadn’t moved an inch. “What are you waiting for, Mina?” she asked. “Climb in here and see how you do when the numbers aren’t on your side.”
Murray didn’t flinch, but she sure as hell didn’t make any effort to close the distance. “Step out here instead, princess. See how YOU do without your muscle backing you up.”
Lenore raked a hand through her sweaty hair and smirked. “I think I’ll be fine. Besides, I want you fresh when it comes time to spank that pretty little ass. No way to spin that loss, right, Mina dear?”
Behind her, Becky walked up and placed both hands on Lemarchand’s shoulders. “We got a problem here, Lenore?”

“You should be so lucky.” Mina let go of the ropes with an engaged ‘twang‘, whirled around and stalked up the ramp, leaving Al to help a knock-kneed Lucy Harker find her way out of the ring.
“Not bad for an opening salvo, huh?” Becky asked once they had the ring to themselves. “Think we’ve seen the last of those two?”
“I doubt it. And I’d be careful working out by yourself for a while. Those two are notoriously clever when it comes to ambushes.” Clayton nodded, aware of the danger but clearly not intimidated. “I say bring it on. Emily gave me an objective and I don’t plan to let her down.”
“You won’t. The rest of us are there to make sure of it. You don’t have to worry about watching your partner’s back anymore, Rebecca. You watch us. We watch you And we all watch FAWN.” Becky nodded and offered a fist, expecting the Raven to bump knuckles. Instead Lenore took her wrist, raised it high and pointed to the newest recruit.
“Speak softly when you speak of the Black Court, ladies.” she told everyone within the sound of her voice. “Because we’re everywhere. And you never know when we might be listening.”
Beside her, Becky Clayton offered the camera a single brawny bicep flex, then exchanged a quick hug with the Raven before they set off on a triumphant victory lap.

‘Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked’ confirmed the bad news so the Orlando faithful sprang to their feet to properly denigrate FAWN’s resident tabloid terrors. Smirking even before they stepped through the curtain, Harker and Murray each kissed their fingertips pageant style, then raised ’em to the rafters to better tease the Sheeple.

For tonight‘s battle against a pair of Emily‘s drooling lackeys, Lucy and Mina wore heartstoppin’ fightin’ one-pieces adorned with high cut hips, a plunging neckline and a light dusting of silver glitter -- Lucy’s was a deep threatening blue with matching white pads and boots while Mina’s was gleaming white, her boots and pads coordinated to match Harker’s togs. While the togs were standard issue for the cruel Californian’s, Lucy Harker drew several surprised comments from the crowd, as the longtime brunette had recently switched to a dark, almost honey blonde. Though not identical to Mina’s lighter, almost platinum locks, the double barreled blast of blonde held the promise (or perhaps threat) of even more wicked, referee distracting shenanigans in the near future.
“I think they like the new look, Lucy, dear.” Mina cooed over the roar of several thousand mouth-breathers.
“As do I, Mina.” Harker replied. “But the makeover won’t feel truly complete until those Black Court toads are slumbering beneath our haunches.”
“Well then, let’s go accessorize, shall we?”
With the evening’s activities set, Scandalous started down the aisle in a hip-swiveling lockstep that managed to silence the ire of even their staunchest detractors, at least for the time it took them to pass by. When they reached the base of the aisle Harker hopped onto the apron, then turned around to face her partner without sparing anyone else so much as a glance.
Basking in the moment when all eyes turned in her direction, Mina exploded into a bounding run and dove between Lucy’s legs before popping to her feet in the center of the squared circle. Arms stretched over the top strand, Lucy dipped her hips and tumbled backward, rolling herself into the ring. She landed just in front of Mina and tilted her head back. For a moment they were the biggest babyfaces on the roster as those assembled urged them to ’JUST KISS, DAMMIT!’ but no, Scandalous drew out the tease for another night as they rolled their eyes and rewarded the trogolodytes with a pair of ‘you should be so lucky’ smirks. With no particular urge to head to a corner just yet, Lucy and Mina headed to their corner and turned glittering eyes to the stage to see just what pair of pawns Emily had sent in her stead.
Careful to keep himself off to one side, just in case Scandalous decided to jump the bell, the Announcer called, “And their opponents, introducing first. representing the Black Court, hailing from Glen Echo Michigan, she stands at five feet seven inches tall and weighs in at one hundred and thirty-one pounds. They call her the Raven… LENORE LEMARCHAND!”
Kula Shaker’s ‘Hush’ hit the speakers and a great deal of handmade ’Ravens’ went up, their number seeming to grow with each new appearance. Lemarchand’s ’Unkindness’ cheered long and loud when the Fair & Radiant Maiden brushed through the curtain a few seconds later. Allowing herself the faintest of smiles, Lenore greeted her followers with a Raven of her own, then pulled it apart and reached behind her back to produce a microphone.

“Hello Lucy, hello Mina. Strategically it was an understandable, even brilliant choice, as you’ve beaten Maeve and Moira on numerous occasions and everyone in this building knows there’s no way in hell you two scavengers could hang with an combination of Pandy, Addy or Ashley.” The crowd agreed, Scandalous did not, as indicated by the scoffing and matching set of middle fingers directed to the stage. “There was only one problem with your plan, ladies. It ended the Three’s reign too early. Such alterations to the Great Game are frowned upon by the Black Court, especially when made by a pair of self-serving witches such as yourself.”
That was enough for Lucy, who snatched the microphone from the Announcer and stormed up to the edge of the ring. “You don’t like it, bytch? Come down here and do something about it. Bring your friends if you’d… oh wait, you don’t have any friends now, do you? Susan’s too busy saving little sister’s ass, Ashley’s on the shelf, Pandora and Pappy want singles titles again and Emily, well, no one really knows where the f*ck she is, isn’t that right? So where the hell does that leave you? You’re dumb, but even you can’t be dumb enough to try to take us on by yourself.”
Mina strolled up beside her, took the mic and put it to her lips. “Of course, you’re more than welcome to try.”
Lenore answered their sweetly vicious smiles with one of her own. “Oh, I’ll do more than try. But first I’d like to introduce everyone to our newest member. We have a Queen, we have an Ace and we have a Raven. Now we have a Peacekeeper.” Emily’s Lady in Waiting stepped to one side and extended an arm toward the curtain. Silence for a moment, then ‘Heroes’ rumbled to life and the FAWN Arena reeled back on its heels as Becky Clayton stepped into view.

Moving into place beside the brunette, Bex offered the audience a knowing grin as she raised her hands overhead to replicate Lenore’s sigil. After a moment she pulled it apart and transformed her mitts into a pair of pistols that she pointed at the Scandalous duo. Then she snapped both wrists up and the crowd roared ‘BANG!’, much to the blonde’s relief. “Seems as if they’re still with you, soldier.” Lenore noted. “Shall we show them just why Emily worked so hard to secure your services?”
Bex nodded, raised a fist and bumped knuckles with the Raven. “We shall. May I take point?”
“Of course.”
Clayton set off at once, the imposing robo-babe making quick time down the aisle. For this first mission with her new squad, the former World Champion wore a black & green camouflage two-piece with tie-sided bottoms and an impossible to ignore ladder / double helix of lycra that ran from the top of her waistband all the way to the southern border of her low-cut sports bra. The gear was completed with flat black pads and boots and few wraps of dark green wrist-tape.
A few steps behind, Lenore wore sporty bikini bottoms hued in a purplish-black and emblazoned with a faint design that careful inspection revealed to be feathers. Her top was halter style, with the color and pattern matching her briefs. Elbow and kneepads were matte black, the latter still obscured by loose, bell-flared 'leggings' that started just south of mid-thigh and dropped to ankle length. Those leggings were also black and featured a stylized version of Lemarchand’s raven insignia done in stark white. Her look was finished with shiny black boots and purple wrist tape that matched her togs.
Quickening her pace to catch up with Clayton, the new tandem broke into a short sprint that took them under the bottom rope in headlong dive. Lenore ended up in front, the brunette popping to her knees to raise the Raven again while Becky stood behind her, the Camouflage Crusher spreading the finger guns wide before once again honing in on Lucy & Mina. More BANG’s from the throng, followed by cheers as Lemarchand hopped to boot leather and walked West’s newest soldier back to the far corner.
No dissent among the Black Court when the bell sounded, Lenore nodded to the new recruit and then stepped out onto the apron, allowing Becky the honor of first blood against the women who’d helped end the Three’s record setting reign. The arrangement was just fine with Clayton, she was practically itching to prove herself all over again for the FAWNatics and perhaps more importantly, her new teammates. Eyes locked on Scandalous territory, the Army of One Hot Chick marched for the center of the ring.
Simultaneously surprised and unimpressed by the Raven’s revelation, Lucy & Mina conversed behind the latter’s obscuring palm until Carpenter cleared his throat and said, “Match is live, ladies. One of you needs to step onto the apron.” Murray started to offer the sharp side of her tongue, but stopped when Harker laid a hand on her shoulder. “Not worth the effort dear, not when there’s a rabid dog-face headed our way. Take a breather for now, I’ll deal with the temp.”
“Don’t smack ALL of the ugly off her, Luce.” Mina chided as she vaulted over the ropes. “I’ll get bored with nothing to kick.”
Already headed out of the corner, Harker grinned but didn’t look back. “I’m sure my hand would go numb long before accomplishing such a goal.” Most women would’ve approached a multi-time champion with at least a semblance of deference, especially one that’d recently aligned herself with an organization as formidable as the Black Court. Lucy Harker would be the first to tell you that she was most certainly not like most women, indeed she exuded disdain as easily as her contemporaries drew breath. So it wasn’t at all surprising when she stopped a few steps shy of the powerful blonde to favor her with a critical up n’ down glance.

Clayton unleashed a sawed-off shotgun blast of a right hand that slammed into Harker’s chin with a cringe-inducing THWHAP! Lucy’s hands dropped to her sides and she crumpled to the deck in slow motion, the newly-minted blonde landing with one hand braced against the mat and the other pressed to her throbbing chin. Becky didn’t even shake the tingle out, she just kissed her knuckles and raised ‘em high overhead as she smirked down at Lucy. “Emily’s far more than a genius, cupcake. And I’m far more than whatever you thought I was before. I’d be happy to show you just how much more after you’re done picking your teeth--”
Harker kipped to her feet and lashed out a hand to rake the Courtier’s eyes only to snarl in irritation when Clayton snatched her wrist. Far from put out, Lucy flattened her free hand into a paddle, reared back for a big ol’ Bytch Slap, then pivoted her hips and drove the broadest part of her thigh up into Becky’s midriff. Clayton grunted, then snarled when the Scandalous lass followed through on the feinted Slap AND the delayed Eye Rake! Such tawdry tactics brought a warning from Al and a complaint from Lenore, not that Harker paid attention to either as she snagged Becky’s wrist and slung her into the ropes with an Irish--strike that, the Camouflage Crusher dug in her heels and sent Lucy to the ropes in her place so easily it was almost disconcerting.

Mina looked calm and Lucy downright amused as the latter hopped onto the second strand and launched backward, twisting sideways in mid-air to hit Becky square across the chest with a ‘SMECK!’ The Rebound Crossbody found the target with no issue whatsoever, that the target refused to budge, that was the heart of the matter. Holding the squirming battler tight across her chest, Becky turned to face Mina and offered her a sly wink. “Gonna need bigger firepower, cutie.” Murray suggested something anatomically impossible so Clayton got back to the task at hand by slinging the blonde up onto her left shoulder like she was little more than a bag of leaves. No stranger to tag team wrestling despite the brand new partner, Bex showed veteran instincts in wheeling around to her own corner before a running start put her on one knee and THAWHAMMED Harker down flat on her spine.

The Running Power Slam left Becky in perfect position to try for a cover and in her BFG days she would’ve done just that. Now that she was Black Court however, the former Tag Champ palmed Lucy’s head in both hands and dragged her upright without even considering a pin. This wasn’t just a match after all. It was her coming out party as FAWN’s newest peacekeeper, not to mention a warning to all those that’d ignore the rules of the Black Queen’s Great Game. Shifting her hands south so that she gripped either side of Harker’s neck, Clayton dipped her knees and hoisted her burden all the way up, Lucy’s feet kicking frantically as she was throttled by the bigger blonde.
“C’MON CARPENTER, THAT’S A GODDAMNED CHOKE, CALL IT!” Mina shouted at the top of her lungs.
Wasn’t necessary of course, the ref noticed the infraction along with everyone else and he wasted no time tapping Clayton on the shoulder. “Enough of that, Becky. Put her down now or I’ll--”
Becky let go and took a half step forward, all the better to cinch her arms around Lucy’s waist as she returned to terra firma. She followed with a single rough squeeze, just hard enough to make Harker expel any air she might’ve drawn into her burning lungs. Then the Camouflage Courtier went low and popped her hips to hurl Lucy up, over and DOWN onto her back courtesy a huge Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Spinning to one knee immediately thereafter, Clayton ran one hand through her hair while the other settled in Lucy’s. “Want some of this?” she asked Lenore.
“Only if you’re willing to share.” the Raven answered with a smirk. That was good enough for Bex, who rose alongside Harker before extending a hand to Lemarchand. Lenore tagged in and promptly hopped into a perch on the second turnbuckle while Clayton went low and wrapped her arms around the stunned brunette’s upper thighs.
“This is BULLSHYT, Carpenter!” Murray bellowed. “How long are you gonna let them double team her?” His answer was five seconds, the same time allotted everyone else, not that Al would give voice to such information, especially not when the tag was less than two seconds old. Indeed, the Courtiers still had plenty of time when Becky muscled Lucy into the sky and Lenore took flight, the lissome brunette twisting around in a half circle just in time to THUMP a Flying Back Elbow against Lucy’s sternum. Clayton dropped her as soon as the elbow connected, it wasn’t quite a Spinebuster, but it sure didn’t sound pleasant when the Scandalous battler crashed against the canvas-sheathed plywood.

Guided by the same protocol that stopped her partner for going for the pin earlier, Lenore positioned herself between Lucy and Mina so she could beckon the blonde striking enthusiast into the squared circle. “You want to f*ck with the board, Murray? “You’re already in a war, shyt for brains.” the blonde said pleasantly. “It just hasn’t hit home yet. It will though. Right about the first time I kick you in the mouth.”
Lemarchand tapped her chin with two fingers, got nothing but a snort from Murray and returned her attention to Harker. Happy to carry on the work started by her newest sister in arms, the Fair & Radiant Maiden hauled Lucy to boot leather, then dipped at that waist and looped her right arm over opposing midsection. Her other arm went behind the blonde’s knees, all the better to bundle her up under Lenore’s right arm. Harker kicked her legs in an attempt to fight free, but Lemarchand’s grip was strong and her usual furious efforts were much diluted in the wake of Clayton’s powerful offense. As it was she could only squirm as the elegant brunette strode to the center of the ring to lock eyes with the other half of Scandalous. “Make a move.” the Raven demanded. “I dare you, Murray.” Mina snarled, slipped one glossy gam through the ropes pulled it right back when Lenore drove her right knee up into the small of Lucy’s back. “Sure you don’t want to help her?” she taunted after another quick Kneelift. “No telling what sort of damage I could do to her back if you don’t help out.” She offered Mina a wicked smile as she THUMPED Harker’s vulnerable back with a third heavy shot. “And if I break her back, how will she ever be able to carry your no talent--”
That got Murray over the ropes real fast, so Lemarchand backed up and dropped to one knee to finally complete the Backbreaker. Tossing Harker’s groaning form aside in a flash, Lenore stood tall and stepped over her victim, all the better to go nose to nose with the fuming blonde.

Murray chested in and Lenore did the same, the pair of lissome beauties heartbeats away from an explosion when Carpenter hurried over and slipped an arm between those taut tummies. “Step off, Lenore. Mina, back to your corner. Don’t make me ask twice.” They didn’t, though the ref noted that neither blonde or brunette exactly jumped to comply with the order.
Keeping a wary eye on Murray until she had the tag rope wrapped around her fist again, Lemarchand plunged her hands into Lucy’s hair and dragged her to boot-leather. The Scandalous blonde was only halfway there when she tucked her chin against her chest and wedged the crown of her skull in beneath Lenore’s jaw. The Jawbreaker was one of the quickest counters in pro-wrestling, yet on this night the Raven was the tiniest bit faster and she snapped a Toe Kick into Harker’s abdomen before the tag specialist could drop to her knees.
“New tricks, Lucy.” Lemarchand sniped once she’s straightened up her dark haired adversary. “Look into somMEEERRRGGHHH!” While the furthest thing from a new trick, the Low Blow proved effective as ever, as evidenced by the way Lenore crumpled around the encroaching knee. In a singles encounter Harker would’ve pounded the skinny bytch’s trunks until she couldn’t even stand, unfortunately there was also Clayton to contend with tonight and Lucy meant for her to be a non-factor until this prissy little blackbird was so much whimpering wreckage. To that end she backed off a few steps, charged forward and snatched a handful of hair. In the same breath she leapt into the air and came down on one knee, Lenore’s forehead making a heavy THWHUNK as it bounced against the posted joint.

Lemarchand rocked back on her heels and staggered hard, one hand pressed to her nose the other reaching vaguely in the direction of a concerned Clayton. “How cute, birdy thinks she’s people.” Harker clamped an Iron Claw on the Courtier’s face, another on her right breast and used both grips to bum rush Lenore into a set of strands well removed from her partner’s grasp.
Understandably dazed but not so out of it she didn’t recognize the ropes at her back, Lemarchand hooked an arm over the top and gurgled, “Breaaaaahg! Breahg it, bidge, I’m in the AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FAHK!” Harker obliged her the face claw, albeit only so she could double down on the nipple pincers, which she worked with great relish.
“All right Luce, she’s in the ropes, break it up, c’mon!” Al barked after several seconds of the teat-twisting torture. The brunette turned to him, her face a puzzled frown. “Were you saying something, Algernon? Some horrid bytch is screaming at the top of her lungs!” She rotated her wrists in opposite directions to elicit another agonized shriek from the Fair & Radiant Maiden. Carpenter didn’t waste his breath on another warning, a quick count ended Lenore’s punishment after ‘FOUR!’ more seconds. “All right, all right, all right! No need to get snippy!” Lucy huffed as she cleared off with both hands raised over her head. Turning her back on the ref without letting him get in a word, Harker strolled right over to the Court’s corner and grinned at Becky Clayton. “Let’s see, first it was Nova, then Roxie, now Lenore. Tell me dog-face, just how many partners do you intend to let down?”
Clayton growled, grabbed the top rope in both hands would’ve started over if she hadn’t noticed a bit of movement on the far side of the ring. “HEY, GET HER UNNNNGGHHH!” Lucy capitalized on the distraction by putting both boots in the blonde’s face with a Standing Dropkick that sent Bex tumbling from the apron. As for the commotion that caught Clayton’s attention in the first place, that was Mina Murray rushing down the apron to THWHACK a stiff Yakuza Kick off the side of Lenore’s unsuspecting noggin.
Knocked loose of the ropes by the brain-rattling strike, Lemarchand tottered her way toward the corner, completely unaware that Clayton was in the process of scraping herself off the floor! Lucy was aware enough for the both of them and she happily interposed herself between the Raven and her corner. With her head dipped beneath Lenore’s right arm and her own right arm cinched across the brunette’s chest, Harker snagged a handful of waistband and muscled her foe high into the air just to lay out on her stomach and THAWHAM Lenore into the canvas full force. The Camouflage Crusher lunged for her antagonist, alas Al proved an effective roadblock, leaving Clayton to grudgingly reclaim her corner while Harker peeled Lenore off the mat. “Been waiting to humiliate you for a loooooong time, feather brain.” Lucy cooed as she helped herself to a snug Wristlock. “Mina and I are going to LOVE taking you apart piece by flat-chested piece.” Any reply Lenore might’ve made remained unsaid as the wicked lass stepped back and hurled her into the Scandalous corner. Woozy or not, Lemarchand saw Mina’s expression as she closed in and did her damndest to slow down, but about all she could manage was a drunken turn that BWUUUNGED her aching frame against the barely-padded steel. Lenore sagged, hooked an arm over the top rope and pulled herself up with every intention of decking Mina with a rude Back Elbow. That all went out the window when Lucy closed at a dead run and took off in a flying leap that THWHUMPED her ass-first into the Courtier’s chest! Lemarchand’s legs finally gave out and she collapsed to all fours, a very dangerous position with Scandalous lurking fore and aft.

Smiling to the icy-eyed blonde, Lucy smoothed back her hair, then extended her hand. “Care to join me, dear?”
“But of course.” Murray clapped herself into the fray and slipped through the ropes while Harker bent over Lenore and seized hold of her ankles. Working more carefully than she would’ve liked, Lucy turned her foe in a quarter circle, then sloooooowly pulled her up into a gorgeous, albeit questionable head stand.
Becky had battled Scandalous enough to know what Lenore was about to endure and she entreated the ref to stop the double team. “C’mon Al, get her out of there! You can’t just let ‘em beat her down!” Carpenter shot her an apologetic look. “Sorry Bex, they’re within the five second--”
‘OOOOOOHHH!’ from the crowd and “AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!” from Lemarchand as Lucy stretched her legs wide, thus allowing Mina to come off the ropes with a gorgeous vertical leap and an Axe Kick that THWHUMPED directly into the brunette’s defenseless undercarriage! Lenore collapsed out of the headstand and curled up at once, both hands wedged between her thighs as she fought to hold back tears.
Beaming, Harker and Murray exchanged a double high five over the wrecked Raven before the former took up residence on the apron and the latter treated herself to a double handful of hair. “Go on, talk your shyt now?” Mina demanded as she hauled Lenore to boot leather in a series of fits and starts. “Let’s see how tuff you are without West, Pandora and Burlingame backing your NGH! NGH! NGH!” Lemarchand found the blonde’s chin with a trio of quick Forearm Shivers, then grabbed a wrist and stepped back, meaning to hurl her opponent into a neutral corner. ‘Meant’ proved the operative words there, as Mina recovered her senses and reversed the momentum of the toss, sending Lenore to the buckles with a BWUUUNG that made her molars ache. Alas that pain quickly gave way to fresher agonies as the baleful blonde rushed in and damned near took her head off with a high knee to Courtier’s forehead.
Lenore’s neck snapped back and she sagged against the buckles but slide to a seat as Mina had claimed the top rope in both hands and perched her left foot on the middle rope. “I’m gonna scrape that pretty little face raw before I smother you out.” Murray proclaimed with a wicked grin even as she angled her right foot up and started scuffing short, abrasive kicks against the side of Lenore’s face. Lemarchand snarled, wrapped a hand around her attacker’s ankle and suffered a hard hair-pull for the trouble. Ultimately it was Al who ended the punishment, as a barked ‘FOUR!’ forced Murray to relinquish the perch or face disqualification.
On level footing again, Mina fluffed her hair then whipped around, swiping it across the brunette’s face to score extra bytchy points as she corralled her head in a Three Quarters Facelock. “Get your scrawny ass out here, bytch.” Emily’s Lady In Waiting wasn’t going anywhere of her own volition, so Mina jerked her forward and dropped to one knee, flipping Lemarchand over onto her butt with a tailbone-rattling Snapmare. Not a match ender by any means, but the unpleasant jolt kept Lemarchand’s works gummed long enough for Murray to affix her claws to the sides of Lenore’s neck! Rising up on her toes after securing the Nerve Hold, Mina sloooooooowly spread her legs into a half split, forcing the seated lovely to carry more and more of her weight. “Ask her, nerd!” Mina demanded of Al as she flipped hair out of her eyes. “See if the little birdy gives up before I rip her wings off!”
“What do you say, Lenore? Need to throw in the towel?” the ref asked from a safe distance.
Lenore grimaced, shook her head ‘no’. “The only thing I need is for Mina to lay off the coconut body lotion. She smells like spring break and sha--”
The Scandalous blonde doubled down on the paralyzing hold, forcing Lenore to grit her teeth to avoid another moan. “What was that, birdy?” she cooed. “You want me to EERRRHHHH! HAIR! HAIR, YOU ASSHOLE!”

Lenore did, she also knew she had five whole seconds to work with, so she twined her fingers a little deeper and tugged all the “EERRRRGGGHHH BYTCH!” In no mood to wait through the zebra’s dicking around, Mina halved the Nerve Hold, curled that hand into a claw and raaaaaaaaked it across the seated woman’s eyes! Lenore let go at once, the limber lovely far more interested in preserving her vision than scalping her adversary.
Mina seemed to have changed her priorities as well, abandoning the other half of the claw to swing around in front of the blinded Courtier. “Watch out, Lenore!” Clayton pounded the turnbuckle for emphasis. “Keep your head down!” Murray glanced up from her ministrations and blew the blonde a kiss, practically daring Becky to come to her partner’s rescue. The Camouflage Crusher growled but didn’t take the bait, knowing that do so meant even more trouble the Raven.
Only mildly disappointed by dog face’s prudence, Mina strode forward, whipped around in a neat little pirouette and hopped off her plant foot to THWHACK a Low Roundhouse off the side of Lemarchand’s skull. Cheers from those assembled as Lemarchand kicked free with half a tic to spare. Mina rolled her eyes in disgust, though she made no effort to hassle Carpenter about the speed of the count. Rather she rolled Lemarchand onto her belly, snatched a handful of hair and dragged her to all fours. “I do believe this one is ready for more of your charms, Lucy dear.” Murray exclaimed as she forced her brunette to crawl into the shadow of the Scandalous Corner. “Try as I might, I can’t wipe the smirk off her face. Perhaps you’ll have better luck.”
Lucy raised a hand but didn’t reach for the tag until Murray planted a foot beside each of her opponent’s hips. By the time she’d reentered the squared circle, Lenore was mired deep in a Camel Clutch, the Raven shaking her head ‘no, no, no!’ in a response that had very little to do with the pain of the hold. Running her tongue across her teeth, Harker turned around and slowly hiked up the edges of her one piece until she was showing a good three quarters of her backside. After a few teasing swats, Lucy glanced over her shoulder to taunt, “And now you’ll forget the Smell of Scandal, Nevermore!”

Mina’s control on her forehead and chin meant there was nowhere for Lenore to turn when Lucy dropped into a deep squat and thrust her tush into that hapless mug! Harker made the most of the double team, just twerking and working while Mina dragged the squealing brunette’s face up n’ down every inch of those haughty glutes. Breaking away from the Camel Clutch at ‘FOUR!’ Mina pointed an accusatory finger as Clayton, as the big blonde was through the ropes and headed over to stop the assault. Al stepped in to shoo her back, which only allowed Scandalous to land a few more stomps to the flattened, sputtering grappler.
“Oh go back to your corner, Clayton!” Lucy scoffed as she ‘flicked’ her togs back into place. “Everyone knows you’re more than happy to hang back while your partner takes heavy fire!”

Lemarchand twisted free of the blonde’s clutches much to the irritation of Lucy and Mina, the latter of which questioned Al’s counting via several direct challenges of his mental acuity and parentage. Temperamental though she was, Harker got it under control as soon as she’d returned her hands to the brunette’s battle damp hair. “None of those other losers can save you now, Lenny. Not Emily, not Sue, not Pandora and especially not that National Guard reject in the other corner. They’re gonna have to sit there with the rest of the Sheeple while we tear you into tiny, sobbing pieces!” She ended the threat with a derisive Bytch Slap and an emphatic Irish Whip that BWUUUNGED the Raven spine-first against the Scandalous corner.
Strong knees finally undone by the collision, Lemarchand dropped to her butt and hooked an arm over the bottom rope to keep from slumping over entirely. The Scandalous ladies exchanged nods, then Harker wheeled around and strutted over to Clayton, her mouth already running a mile a minute. Meanwhile, Murray dropped to the floor, wrapped an arm around Lenore’s throat and bore down, throttling her with an illegal choke! Carpenter’s back was turned of course, as he was in the midst of trying to get Lucy away from the Court’s corner. Becky was similarly occupied, though the increase in crowd noise and the thrashing of Lemarchand’s legs got her attention after several long seconds. “Dammit Al, get over there! She’s choking her!”
The ref turned to confirm only to scramble aside as Lucy raced by him and THWHONKED her right knee between Lenore’s eyes! Knocked loopy by the Panic Attack, Lemarchand rolled / slopped to all fours and crawled out of the corner, the Fair & Radiant Maiden STILL trying to make her way to Becky’s outstretched hand. Harker didn’t try to stop her, she’d already slipped through the ropes and vaulted into a crouch on the top, a perch she occupied while Lenore sloooooowly regained her feet. But being upright was no guarantee of freedom, not when Lemarchand was doubled over with hands on her knees, the decimated Raven too spent to realize she was facing a neutral corner and not her partner.
Back in the Scandalous corner, Mina swatted Lucy’s flank to bring herself into the fray a heartbeat before Harker leapt out into the void and crashed down with a Frog Splash directly across the other brunette’s exposed back! Becky dove in from outta nowhere and dropped a Double Axehandle on Mina’s skull to break the pin with half a heartbeat to spare. Simultaneously cringing and apoplectic, Murray sprang to her feet and went straight for the Camouflage Crusher. “ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME? GET BACK TO YOUR CORNER OR WE’LL RUIN YOUR ASS!”
Becky spread her arms wide and didn’t move even though Al was pleading with her to get back to the corner. “Don’t worry about it, Al.” she said without taking her eyes off Mina, “the tabloid hack thinks she can kick my ass. I’d like to see her try.”
With all eyes elsewhere at the moment, Lucy slithered under the bottom rope and claimed Lenore’s head as her own. “Up we go, bytch.” she taunted the insensate brunette. “Let’s see just how much you can NNNNGGGGHHHHHH!” Lenore reared back and THWHUMPED a short, vicious Uppercut between her attacker’s thighs! Harker ‘eeeeeped’ started to back away, then let out an agonized shriek as Lemarchand shifted to a white-knuckled claw grip on her undercarriage.
“I… I can take more… than you could ever dish out, slut.” Lenore growled as she clambered to verticality. “The real question is, just how much can YOU take?”
Lucy couldn’t answer with anything other than a hiss, but the commotion drew the attention of everyone else in the ring. Dismissing Clayton without another thought (which was fine considering Al devoted himself to shepherding her back to the Court’s side of town) Mina made a beeline for the recovered Raven. “Bytch, let her go right now or I swear I’ll UNNNNNGGGHH!”
Lemarchand abandoned the Crotch Claw in favor of a trunks and tresses grip that let her spin / sling Lucy into Mina’s gut in a short but effective Spear. Mina doubled over atop her encroaching partner, as of yet unaware that she’d curled her left arm around Lucy’s head in an unintentional Front Facelock. “Were you saying something, princess?” Mina raised her head and immediately regretted it, as Lenore leap-frogged over Lucy and hooked her right leg across the blonde’s throat in a move straight out of Calliope’s playbook. The Hooking Leg Lariat proved a two’fer as Murray tightened her grip on Harker’s head in hopes of keeping herself vertical only to yank her friend down with a DDT that THWONKED her head against the deck!
The crowd came to life as Scandalous collapsed beside one another, unfortunately Lenore did not, as the burst of offense had dipped very deep in her well of reserves. “C’MON LENORE!” Becky practically screamed at the prone brunette. “SUCK IT UP AND GET OVER HERE!” She emphasized the demand with a round of rhythmic clapping that was quickly picked up by the rest of the FAWNatics.
Even then Lemarchand didn’t stir until Al reached ‘FIVE!’ and she didn’t make it to her feet until ‘EIGHT!’ Finally catching the blonde’s eye, Lenore nodded and headed for home in a determined, albeit zombie-like shuffle.

Mina grabbed her shoulder, whipped the Raven around in a half circle and peeled off one of her own in an attempt to take Lemarchand’s head off with a UrakNO! Lenore dipped it, slapped on a Waistlock and hurled her backward into the top turnbuckle! Murray yowled and collapsed in a heap, the Scandalous blonde so absorbed in this brand new anguish that she didn’t hear the patter of approaching footsteps. But oh did she ever feel it when Lenore grabbed the top rope and launched herself into a handstand. Becky slapped her shoulder to the delight of the crowd, however she didn’t enter the field until Lemarchand swung back down and THWHUMPED her heels into the blonde’s crotch!
Pretty face lit up in a weary smile, Lenore nodded a salute to Clayton and rolled under the bottom rope, leaving the former World Champ to hop over the strands like a lightweight. Snugged in close on the smaller woman’s right side, Becky slid her right arm under Mina’s armpit and cupped that hand against her left shoulder. In no mood to take a ride with this lumbering freak, Murray crooked her right arm into a ‘V’ and pounded the point of that elbow into Becky’s cheek until the powerhouse was forced break her grip. A good plan, no question, it’s only weakness laid in giving Clayton a choice of going for the cover or dishing out more punishment. Hands raised like she’d done nothing wrong, Lucy sauntered to corner with Carpenter trailing behind to see that she got there with no shenanigans. She’d *just* grabbed the tag rope when Mina walked over and tagged Lucy’s palm with a loud slap. “Stop harassing my partner, nerd.” Murray taunted. “Or we’ll file a grievance.”

The blondes tuned him out entirely, they’d already hurried back to Clayton and scraped her off the mat. “Looks like you’ve failed yet another partner, Clayton.” Lucy teased as a single glance at the other side of the ring revealed an empty corner. “At least this one had the brains to get out before you brought her down too.” Becky was too discombobulated to speak, so Harker ducked down and wedged her head under the blonde’s left arm while simultaneously hooking grabbing the left wrist and circling an arm under her target’s left thigh. Elsewhere, Mina Murray lined up her shot, once again seeking the Super Kick denied her earlier in the “NNNNGGGGHHHHH!”
The Raven came out of nowhere with a gorgeous Springboard Dropkick that caught Murray flush between the shoulders! Cursing aloud as Mina hit the deck in a face-first skid that sent her sliding under the bottom rope, Lucy doubled down on her own hooks and hoisted the bigger battler up, over and DOWN onto the mat with a Scandalous Slam!

No time to savor the loser’s moans of pain, Harker kipped up a heartbeat ahead of Lemarchand’s return to verticality and made her pay for dallying by raaaaaaaaaaaaking a hand across her foe’s eyes! “Should’ve run when you had the chance, bytch.” Lucy grabbed a Wristlock. “Now you get to suffer alongside your dog-faced trainee.” She stepped back, dropped a shoulder and hurled Lenore at a neutral corner. Emily’s Lady in Waiting made the journey at top speed, sadly oblivious to Harker practically nipping at her heels. This ignorance was destroyed by a scathing bolt of understanding when she spun her back into the buckles and was promptly THWHUMPED in the tits by a huge Front Dropkick!
Breathless in the wake of such a heavy stroke, Lemarchand cinched an arm around the top rope to keep from plopping down on her ass. “Fine, stand as long as you can.” Lucy sniffed. “Just means I’m a little sweatier when it comes time to ride your face.” A quick Bitch Slap made for the perfect punctuation as Harker wheeled around and jogged to the opposite side of the squared circle. Offering a preening smile and a pair of middle fingers to the jeering crowd, Lucy raced forward, threw herself down in a flawless handspring and bounced through one, two ‘OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!’
Becky Clayton charged in from the left, lowered a shoulder and folded Lucy in half with a Spear while the Scandalous brat’s toes were pointed at the rafters! Reduced to smoldering rubble by the bunker-busting blow, Harker didn’t even groan when the Camouflage Crusher rolled her onto her stomach and crossed both heels against her tush in a taut ‘X’. Then she braced a shin between Lucy’s legs, bent down and claimed the brunette’s biceps.
“LENORE!” she bellowed. “YOU GOOD?”
The Raven had been better, but that didn’t keep her quiet for long. “Yeah. Stretch her out!” Clayton did just that, reefing back on Lucy’s biceps to peel her upper body off the mat at an unpleasant angle. Harker had yet to fully comprehend the reality of her situation when Lenore grabbed the top rope and leapt into the high rent district. Perched at the perfect vantage point, Lemarchand saw a glassy-eyed Mina pulling herself under the bottom rope, so she sprang out into the void and pistoned both feet between Harker’s shoulders! Clayton tossed the leg aside, popped to her feet and raised a fist to the crowd as the Announcer confirmed, “Ladies and gentlemen, your winners via pin-fall… BECKY CLAYTON AND LENORE LEMARCHAND!”
As for Lenore, she hadn’t moved an inch. “What are you waiting for, Mina?” she asked. “Climb in here and see how you do when the numbers aren’t on your side.”
Murray didn’t flinch, but she sure as hell didn’t make any effort to close the distance. “Step out here instead, princess. See how YOU do without your muscle backing you up.”
Lenore raked a hand through her sweaty hair and smirked. “I think I’ll be fine. Besides, I want you fresh when it comes time to spank that pretty little ass. No way to spin that loss, right, Mina dear?”
Behind her, Becky walked up and placed both hands on Lemarchand’s shoulders. “We got a problem here, Lenore?”
“No problem, Bex. Mina here was just saying she’s learned her lesson and won’t stick her nose in Court business anymore, isn’t that right, Meens?”

“You snippy little cunt, I’ll-” Murray put a knee on the apron and grabbed the top rope, only to grind to a halt when Becky cleared her throat. “You’ll wait to fight me when we’re both fresh, right?” Lenore said softly.
“You should be so lucky.” Mina let go of the ropes with an engaged ‘twang‘, whirled around and stalked up the ramp, leaving Al to help a knock-kneed Lucy Harker find her way out of the ring.
“Not bad for an opening salvo, huh?” Becky asked once they had the ring to themselves. “Think we’ve seen the last of those two?”
“I doubt it. And I’d be careful working out by yourself for a while. Those two are notoriously clever when it comes to ambushes.” Clayton nodded, aware of the danger but clearly not intimidated. “I say bring it on. Emily gave me an objective and I don’t plan to let her down.”
“You won’t. The rest of us are there to make sure of it. You don’t have to worry about watching your partner’s back anymore, Rebecca. You watch us. We watch you And we all watch FAWN.” Becky nodded and offered a fist, expecting the Raven to bump knuckles. Instead Lenore took her wrist, raised it high and pointed to the newest recruit.
“Speak softly when you speak of the Black Court, ladies.” she told everyone within the sound of her voice. “Because we’re everywhere. And you never know when we might be listening.”
Beside her, Becky Clayton offered the camera a single brawny bicep flex, then exchanged a quick hug with the Raven before they set off on a triumphant victory lap.
