The Season Beatings PPV is well under way with two great matches. The Upstart Girls have just finished up a short break leading the kiss cam, which ended with Sammie, Lizzie, Chloe and Bunny all trading kisses as well. With the chance to run to the restrooms, or grab some of the good concessions stand offerings the FAWNatics all return to their seats.
The lights go down in the arena, leaving the stage and ring lights on. The music that plays next isn’t often heard in the FAWN arena any more, but back in the early 90’s it would bring the crowds to their feet and usually followed by boos that would shake the rafters

Bethany Christian had been one of the biggest heels for nearly twenty years, many of her feuds were legendary. Now though she’s the woman that runs the place, the commissioner that heels complain forget where she came from, and faces detest as allowing too much latitude for heels to have their way. While those that report on FAWN pretty much agree, Bethany does the job as commissioner as well as can be expected juggling a huge roster and keeping the fans entertained.
BETHANY CHRISTIAN:

Walking out in her standard pants suit, the middle aged woman looks like she could climb in the ring tonight, and win a belt if she so chose. Bethany doesn’t slap the extended hands, nor does she antagonize the FAWNatics, as always she is just about the business. Reaching the ring she climbs the stairs and wipes her shoes on the ring apron, Al Carpenter the FAWN referee runs over and sits on the middle strand and pushes up the top rope making it easier for the commissioner to enter the ring. Bethany gives him a look, but then simply says, “Thanks” as she enters the ring.
Christian walks over and takes the mic with a nod, from a nervous looking ring attendant. Walking to the center of the squared circle, Bethany launches into her announcement, “I hope you are all enjoying Season’s Beating, and there is more to come.”
The Commissioner looks at the sheet of paper in her hand before continuing, “While we still have more action yet tonight, I’m here to announce the coming of what we at FAWN will become an annual tradition. At January’s PPV Thrills, Chills and Spills we will have round one of a rookie of the year tournament. Eight women that made their debuts in 2016 will via for the honor. Round two and three will be in the following PPV with the Rookie of the Year crowd in March.”
FAWNatics cheer as they seem to like the idea, Christian gives them just a moment before continuing, “And here are the first round match ups. Camilla Cosworth verse Jasmine Washington”

Bethany waits for the applause and cheers to die down, “Enjoy the rest of the show.” She turns tossing the mic back to the ring attendant, this time she is out of the ring before the referee can get over to help her, showing she could enter the ring to compete anytime she wanted. She actually nods to some of the crowd that cheer her and her announcement before heading back to her office.
