Charlie Dawson vs. Lark Russell
From the moment Skye Mitchell had rolled up Lark Russell to give America’s Sweethearts a win over the Outcasts in tag team action, Lark had appeared to make it her mission to punish the Sweethearts--Mitchell in particular. In two singles matches against Skylar, the statuesque brunette had forced her smaller foe to tap and then collected a pin, while she had almost singularly focused on Mitchell in a subsequent tag encounter, won by the Outcasts.
Now, it was apparently Charlie’s turn to suffer.
Lark used her size and her brawn to control much of the contest, but try as she might, Russell had difficulty putting Charlie away. And each one of Dawson’s runs managed to run a few more moves than the one before it. When Dawson went upstairs for her Charlie Cutter, it appeared the improbably would happen...
... only as she leapt, Lark spun and swung, connecting with a MASSIVE KO Punch that had Charlie out like a light before she even landed. Russell’s boot on chest cover could have easily netted her a ten count, but Lark settled for the traditional three. And the win.
The Geek Squad vs. the Commonwealth
Tonight, Lady Lydia Lethbridge and Cleona Flynn fought under the Commonwealth banner, with Evonne Ingham taking up the role of moral support in their corner. And really, Cleona did most of the fighting, imposing her will on poor Gwen Morgan--and occasionally tagging out for a few seconds to her Ladyship. Eventually, though, Lethbridge’s arrogance allowed Guinevere to get the MUCH needed tag, and Finn Cunningham took out a match-worth’s frustration on both Lydia and Flynn. The end appeared near when Finn nudged her head between Lydia’s thighs from behind, raising the smaller brunette into the electric chair--the setup for Cunningham’s 000-Destruct-Zero.

But before she could drop her Ladyship and catch her the German, Cleona Flynn clipped Cunningham’s knee from behind. The referee could say nothing, as he was tied up by Evonne Ingham on the apron. Gwen Morgan TRIED to say something, but ended up on the receiving end of the Scotwoman’s Caber Toss for her troubles.

Flynn then proceeded to lay juggs to Gwen’s face for good measure, while Lydia took advantage of reprieve to secure the Lethbridge Lock.

And unfortunately, it didn’t take long for Cunningham to tap.
Skye Mitchell versus Piper Sexton
Skylar might not be AS beloved by the Desert Dwellers as her tag team partner, but she’s still plenty popular--and Piper Sexton is absolutely LOATHED by the locals. Which meant that, for the third match in a row, the crowd found itself jeering heartily. Skye had gained the initial upper hand, but a rake of the eyes by Piper had led to several minutes of domination by the snotty blonde. Sexton was CERTAIN of victory as she set up for her variation of the Regalplex, You Can’t Sit With Us!
(YOU CAN’T SIT WITH US!

But Skylar managed to swing up her one free leg, catching Piper with a WICKED kick to the face that left her bell ringing loudly. Sexton was probably still seeing stars even before Mitchell connected with her Skye Dive...

Piper wasn’t seeing much of anything when Skylar collected the three count, and earned the loudest ovation of the night so far.
The Dombrowski Sisters vs. the War Party
This proved to be a nearly 15 minute clinic in tag team action. The Dombrowski girls managed to control the early stages, isolating and working over Kasa Halfmoon. But once the War Party asserted control, Kasa and Kaya took a considerable amount of joy in torturing Lynda Dombrowski.
The last four minutes or so were a back and forth flurry of action, neither team managing to hold control for long, until poor Kaya Halfmoon found herself out on the floor, and Kasa laid out on the canvas. Celeste Dombrowski then took a seat on the top turnbuckle, Lynda climbing first the ropes and then onto her sister’s back, launching the Dombrowski Double Decker Leg Drop from there.
(DOMBROWSKI DOUBLE DECKER:

Lynda then hooked the leg and scored the three.
Sapphire Havens vs. Lyssa Zahn
The first time these two met, it was clear there was mutual dislike right from the get go. Twice these two women had met, each scoring a win on the other--Havens giving Zahn her FIRST ‘L’ in their last encounter--and Lyssa clearly hadn’t forgotten that. The Social Media Superstar immediately claimed the advantage with a low blow, and took every shortcut in the book to maintain that advantage.
Sapphire eventually managed to reverse the tide, rallying behind the support of the Desert Dwellers and battering Lyssa around the ring--even going so far as to, at one point, snatch Zahn’s phone and upload an Instagram of HER with the lotus lock on Lyssa to Lyssa’s account!
The last laugh, however, would go to Zahn. And the final Instagram upload of the night was of Lyssa’s boot on Sapphire’s chest, following the Instaslam and the one-two-three.
Tag Team Championship: the Surf Sisters (c) vs. the Nightmare Children
To date, the Surf Sisters had been the ONLY team to score a victory over the unholy union of Harrietta Morreaux and Amaris Poison, when they had managed to reclaim the tag team titles the Nightmare Children had taken from them. Needless to say, Morreaux and Poison wanted their championship back...
While Mattie and Reagan had managed to work over Amaris a little bit in the opening minutes, one premature duck down by Knight had enabled Poison to gain the upper hand with a kick to the chest, after which Mattie found herself at the nonexistent mercies of the Nightmare Children for nearly the next 10 minutes solid, Amaris and Harrietta sprinkling a liberal amount of double teaming in with their own singular arsenals.
Somehow, Mattie managed to transform an attempted Morreaux powerbomb into a hellacious facebuster, which left BOTH women nearly out and desperately in need of a tag. Harrietta made it to her corner first, but Knight was not far behind...
... only for Amaris to enter the ring with almost supernatural speed. Poison SPRINTED into the Surf Sisters’ corner, driving Reagan from the apron with a WICKED forearm to the chest an instant before Knight arrived. Poison then turned her back to the buckles, lounging against them as Mattie used Amaris’ body to pull herself up...
... and once Knight was on her feet, Amaris slapped on her Poison Kiss.
Mattie writhed and bucked against her foe’s advances for nearly ten seconds, but she was fading into oblivion when Amaris guided her down to the mat. Knight barely even convulsed as the official slapped off the three count, crowning the Nightmare Children as TWO time Desert Divas Tag Team champions.
Poison’s evil smile was made all the more chilling by the mysterious green fluid dripping from her lips, which matched the gunk poor Mattie was coughing up on the mat. When she slid under the bottom rope, Reagan Atkins made no move toward the new champions, instead scampering on her hands and knees over to her partner, to make sure that she was okay. And Poison and Morreaux seemed content to leave her be, leaving the ring with their newly re-acquired straps slung over their shoulders.
Queen of the Desert Match: Deidra Dennehy (c) vs. Shannen Dennehy
From day one of Cathy Dennehy’s ownership of Desert Divas, Shady Shannen had been set up to be her champion. And while her older sister might have rigged the game a little to allow the Shady One to win the belt, keeping it had been ALL Shannen...
... until her cousin had managed to overcome the odds, tying the series between them at one-to-one.
To the shock of absolutely no one, Darling Deidra and Shady Shannen waged a war that lasted nearly a half hour--and started before the bell, when the elder Dennehy Pearl Harbored her cousin. Deidra fought back to regain the upper hand, punishing Shannen’s back at every opportunity. When the tide turned again, as it had to, the Shady One sought vengeance with a bearhug that lasted nearly two minutes, which somehow failed to rob Deidra of her consciousness... but seemed to deprive her of virtually all her strength.
But neither Dennehy could put the other away, try as she might.
Eventually, Deidra found herself in control again, and the Shady One found herself reeling in a corner. But when Deidra attempted to answer Shannen’s bearhug with a massive splash, the elder Dennehy YANKED the official in front of her, momentarily making that man the envy of the left turn when he was sandwiched between the voluptuous cousins.
With the official down and out, it didn’t take long for Nasty Natalie Dennehy to put in an appearance at ringside. Deidra’s tag team partner, Ellie Masterson, soon followed--but not before Nat was able to pass to Shannen a roll of quarters, which the Shady One used to knock her cousin into next week.
An exhausted Shannen, certain of victory, dropped into a cover and waited for the recovering referee to drag himself over. Once he did, the zebra slapped off the ONE... TWO...
... but NOT THREE!!!!!
Possibly on nothing more than instinct, Deidra kicked out. The Darling One certainly still appeared dead to the world when Shannen hairhauled her up and whipped her into the far corner. But when the elder blonde tried to follow with a splash that foreshadowed the Milk Run, Deidra managed to raise a boot, catching the Shady One flush in the jaw. As Shannen staggered away from the corner, Deidra followed behind her, grabbing her cousin’s shoulder and spinning her around. Shoving Shannen’s head between her thighs in a tight standing headscissors, Deidra swung her opponent up onto her shoulders, powerbomb-style...
... only instead of sitting out, the younger Dennehy tossed her foe higher. As gravity pulled Shannen back down, Deidra laid out, catching the Shady One’s noggin and pulling her cousin’s head over her shoulder, connecting with a diabolical stunner that left Shannen spasming and senseless. From her knees, Deidra peeled off her halter, then brought her gurls down atop the Shady One’s mug, jugging Shannen off to the Land of Nod with her Got Milk? Three lifts of Shannen’s arm later, and Deidra’s hand was raised in victory.
