Kylie Sanders
Portia Van-Buren
Alexis Suguitan
Rachael Raker
Bethany Christian
Four women sit around the oaken conference table, each a FAWN star in her own right; each a member of VanBuren & Associates. Three wait for a distracted Portia to start the discussion, but VanBuren is off in her own world, whatever daydream she’s living through giving her a grimace.
Alexis whispers to Rachel Raker. “Is she still?” Rachel nods, motioning the junior partner of the Associates to not mention the woman who shall not be named.
“Pissed off I lost a quarter of my father’s fortune and was pleading to that gold digging slut in front of everyone?” VanBuren interrupts. “Still upset about that, Alex?”
Suguitan’s gaze moves away from Baby’s as the blonde’s emerald eyes focus in her direction.
“But we are not going to talk about that today, thank you very much. We are here to help our new VP of Operations Miss Kylie Sanders plan her title competition.”
Kylie is unsuccessful in stifling a beaming grin. She opens her lips to respond but…
“And,” a voice comes through the conference call hardware to Portia’s left, “I’m here to help as well.”
Both Sanders and Portia sneer at the sound of FAWN’s executive-in-chief Bethany Christian.
“And don’t think we don’t appreciate that,” Raker responds, furiously writing in her legal pad and showing it to her boss ‘PLAY NICE’.
“As we all know, Kylie’s win against Wendy Smith was, shall we say, less than decisive and both our agents and fans tell us a rematch is what they want to see.”
The blonde looks at Portia and furiously shakes her head. Baby holds up a hand.
“As you know Bethany, we take your REQUESTS very seriously, but the Associates’ contract states that our champions have right of first refusal and it seems Wendy does not measure up to Kylie’s standards.”
“I’m sure,” the scornful replay comes from the boss.
“I have many top contenders in mind,” Sanders says. “Each one is a top flight FAWN superstar. Rest assured. And as Portia indicated, I will take your request for Smith under advisement. Frankly, I’d see an opportunity to destroy the so-called PA powerhouse as a Mania match. But again, we’ll let you know.”
A click of the phone lets the Associates know what Christian thinks and Kylie smirks.
“Oh she’s going to LOVE the top contender I have in mind,” the Hawkeye chuckles. “Just LUVVVV her.”
