Gretchen Vaughn-Van Buren
The FAWN back stage cameras find Gretchen Vaughn-( Still Van Buren for the moment) walking the hall, the picture piped to the FAWNtron for the March to War crowd to see and hear. For the first time that any of the FAWNatics can remember Gretchen is not in her ring gear or an expensive dress, tonight she wears jeans and a FAWN baby tee. The big brunette looks in open doors clearly looking for someone.
The soon to be Ex-Mrs Van Buren sees Cindy Bash in the hall and asks, “Have you seen Trisha?”
Cindy Bash
Bash points down the hallway, “She’s down there talking to someone?”
Moving down the hall Gretchen sees her tag team partner in conversation with her former partner Claudia Rooney. The smaller red head lets Usher know that Gretchen is approaching. Turning Trisha looks less than pleased, Vaughn nods to Claudia, “Hey Claudia. I want to talk to you too, but that’s going to have to wait I need to talk to Trisha.”
Claudia Roonie
Trisha Usher
The redhead simple turns and walks away without a word. Trisha folds her arms across her ample bosom, “What do you want Gretchen?”
Gretchen seems to notice something is wrong, “I wanted to thank you for having my back at the house show. I’m going to need people behind me in the coming months.”
Trisha’s lips almost smile, but it’s not a pleasant grin, “I was after Alexis, that’s all.”
Gretchen looks caught off guard by the response, “Trisha, you and I are still a team. I got your back, you got mine.”
Trisha shakes her head, “No, You’re not a Trophy Wife anymore. I will give you this Gretchen, I’ll stay out of your way as long as you do the same. As of right now there is no more Trophy Wife team, you’re on your own.”
Wiping her face, obviously it’s not what Gretchen wanted to hear, “Trisha, we held the tag titles. We are a team.”
Usher corrects, “We were a team.” Pointing behind Gretchen Trisha adds, “And they are your problem.”
Vaughn turns seeing PVBA coming down the hallway and when she looks back she finds that Trisha has indeed left her alone.
Portia Van-Buren
Kylie Sanders
Lionel Van-Buren
Zarafina
Portia and Kylie, seemingly joined at the hip for the last couple months, are again side by side, Sanders apparently rested and ready for another career-defining matchup, this one versus her old Special K partner Krystal Erway. The Associate twosome lead Lyle and his gypsy arm candy Zarafina on a tour of the backstage area. Once Baby sees her stepmom she shakes her head. Turning, she asks Lyle if he wants to head in a different direction and he shakes off his daughter. Taking point, Kylie leads Portia, Lyle and his new squeeze down the hallway. "Can someone get the trash out of the arena before the stars show up?" Kylie shouts. "I could smell loser before I even saw you, Gretchen," Sanders says, the blonde making sure she stays between the estranged family members.
"It's OK, Kylie," Portia interrupts. "I don't believe even an admitted gold digger would be so crass as to open her mouth in this situation. Would you, Mom?"
“Portia you’re proof that money doesn’t buy class, and Kylie I think you have enough to worry about tonight.” Gretchen holding her spot, but on the lookout for the other two Associates. Baby starts forward, but Lyle puts a hand on her shoulder. Seeing Lyle doesn’t want a conflict Vaughn adds, “Spoiled Brats get spanked. You’d be wise to remember that Portia.”
Portia's Daddy pulls Zarafina close and gives her a peck on the cheek. "And my dear has been such a bad girl lately and I truly have been spoiling her." A smirking Lyle turns back to his wife. "I understand you want a divorce, Gretchen. And far be it from me to deny you what you want when I've gotten what I wanted out of you." Portia can't contain a chuckle and Kylie wears a shiteating grin. "I'll have Miss Raker and the team I've assembled for her get in touch with whatever you can scrounge up and we'll work out something agreeable. I'm thinking a nice allowance of a thousand dollars a week for a year comes to mind. It'll give you enough time to get back in wrestling shape." Baby hisses with delight again.
Gretchen wants to slap the Hawkeye’s face, and she wants to do even more to Portia. Zarafina in the back doesn’t look as smug as the two blondes, but she’s too busy with Lyle. The soon to be ex-Mrs. VanBuren looks at her still husband, “What are you talking about? We have a pre-nup, I want my money Lyle.” The brunette looks at Portia, “And if you think Portia and her sorority sisters can keep that way from me, you’re nuts.”
"Well, yes. We did sweetheart. But I've been thinking about that and I've decided I received incompetent representation at the time that document was created. Miss Raker assures me we can keep any payments held up in probate for years on end. You won't see a dime until you’re old and even more gray. But we can talk about that at a more appropriate time and environment. Tonight, I'm here to support my one and only love. My child. And of course the woman she will be associating with tonight. VanBuren offers a wink at Sanders who blushes, this drawing a curled lip and a scrunched nose from Zarafina. "From what I understand, you're not wrestling again tonight" Lyle continues, "so I ask you to stay out of Portia's way and that might be most easily accomplished if you simply leave the arena. There's a good girl. "
“How is a convict like Raker allowed to practice law in Florida?” Gretchen asks, but she doesn’t wait for an answer, “It doesn’t matter, my Lawyers will chew up the Associates in the court just like I do in the ring.” Gretchen blocks Kylie’s path as she tries to leave after Lyle’s order. The small blonde looks ready to fight if she has too, the Gold Digger doesn’t strike though, she just adds, “You want a war? You’ll have it!”
Lyle tut-tuts Kylie from wasting any energy on his trophy wife and Sanders moves to the side. "I've been fighting and winning wars since before you were digging for gold in your turtle sandbox. And my girl has been following in my footsteps in spades here in FAWN. So anytime you want to get your ass kicked in the ring or out all you have to remember is the name VanBuren. One you won't have the privilege of much longer. Ladies. Let's be off." Lyle ushers Kylie, Portia and Zarafina in front of him and starts walking past Gretchen.
The Camera stays on a clearly angry Gretchen, but the brunette doesn’t follow. The wheels turning and the ire building in the Gold Digger as the camera fades to black.
