Description: Shea first came onto the wrestling scene in late 1997, joining Cherry Bomb Pro Wrestling,
an organization based out of Japan. The fed closed up shop before Shea could compete, however.
Months later, in early 1998, Shea hit the big time, landing deals with both the IEWA and WSIW.
During her WSIW career, she scored several impressive wins in the singles division–including one over
eventual champion Kasume Nanase. Her IEWA reign saw her earn a shot at the Skyweight title, though
that match resulted in Sonja and Sarah Victory severely injuring her ankle. That injury, coupled with
the collapse of WSIW, lead Shea into temporary retirement. After extensive rehabilitation, she signed
with the Battling Ring Angels. In her first tenure with the fed, she became a contender in both the
singles and tag team ranks (along with Tara Sawyer), coming within inches of winning the BRATT
titles on no less than three occasions.
After another period away from the limelight, Shea returned to BRA in August in 2001. And it was then
that she finally established herself as one of the biggest stars in the game, emerging victorious from
feuds with both "Blonde Bombshell" Tiffany Lane and Tamie "Malibu" St. John, claimed from the
latter her first professional championship, the Battling Ring Angels Middleweight title. It was a title she
would hold for almost seven months, before finally surrendering it to the Hardcore Hippie Abby
Hoffman in a grueling battle that pushed both stars to their limit. She responded to this setback by
winning the Eastern Continental title (BRA's second highest belt) just before the organization closed its
doors.
Shea is the flip side of the traditional stereotype of British wrestlers. She is down to earth, modest,
warm and friendly, instead of the effete snob type. She is both enthusiastic and hard working. When she
wrestles, she will leave everything in her on the mat by match's end. Confident but not cocky. Her heart
is probably three times bigger than she is. Can take lots of punishment and will keep trying to fight
longer than she's actually able to. Fun loving--basically out to have a good time, unless she has issues
with the particular opponent, in which case she is all business.
She is lightning quick and extremely tough, though not particularly strong physically. She's no
weakling, but there are very few women in the business that she can overpower. She also has
something of a short fuse. Shea also is extremely patriotic. She loves her British heritage, and the
fastest way to piss her off is to insult that heritage.
