SOLEDAD SANCHEZ
...The FAWNatics could scarcely believe their eyes. It wasn't that Olivia Barker didn't have the body or skills to be a regular FAWN participant but for whatever reason the breakup of the Young Americans had apparently left her mired in the doldrums and that mire in turn left her battling in the unglamorous burg of Albuquerque. But tonight's rousing performance against her neighbour to the south had to be opening eyes. After a first five minutes that had been back-n-forth, Soledad Sanchez was more than beginning to show signs of slowing, a death knell for the speed merchant sometimes known as La Hurrican. Instead the redhead was blowing Sanchez around the ring, Soledad unable to keep up and when the busty Barker raced toward a corner bound Soledad and CRUSHED her under a curvy avalanche of red, white and blue.
The dazed Mexican cutie staggered out of the corner as if on too much tequila and mid-ring, took a header to the canvas to the delight of the gringos.
As the deflated Latina pitches to the canvas, Olivia steps onto the bottom rope, leaning over the top cable to address the roaring FAWNatics. "Not that Desert Divas hasn't been fun," she said, "but DAMMIT IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK HERE!" The crowd definitely agrees, giving the buxom redhead a rousing welcome, even as she turns away from them and back to her opponent. With Soledad struggling to rise, her back to Barker, the Longhorn Looker drops into a three point stance. The crowd's cheers grow louder--especially the portion of the audience directly in front of Ollie's raised rear end. And as a woozy Sanchez begins to turn around, Olivia explodes off the block, her shoulder remaining lowered and ready to DRIVE straight through La Hurrican with a spear.
Unfortunately, Soledad's radar is on the fritz from getting a faceful of Barker's chest. The lithe brunette lucha doesn't notice the charging American until it's too late. Sanchez is gutted by the tackle, her already enormous eyes growing bigger as Barker BLASTS the air right out of La Hurrican. Soledad's lips burst wide with a grunting exhale as Olivia carries Sanchez several steps beyond impact and turns into a brutal slam of her foe into the deck, Olivia finishing the spear in style. She covers for a...
ONE!
TWO!!
...but Soledad shaves a shoulder off the canvas.
Olivia turns to the ref, scarcely believing that wasn't three. "Come on, ref..." she sighs, but he shakes his head.
"Sorry, Red," he replies. "That might finish off the girls in Desert Divas, but you oughta know it takes a little more than that ere."
Nodding in reluctant agreement, Barker climbs to her feet. But instead of staying down in the dumps, the former tag champ makes her way to Soledad's feet. Grabbing both ankles, Olivia lefts those luscious legs up into a wide 'V' and steps through. La Hurrican might be too stubborn to stay down when she's beaten, but would she be stubborn enough not to tap when Barker got the sharpshooter locked in?
The slight but sinewy lucha is slow to understand what Olivia has in mind, the dark-haired beauty's long locks brushing as her head shakes some of the senses back into place. But when Barker locks her legs up with Soledad's and turns the little enchilada over, Sanchez is yelping in pain.
The patriotic crowd chants "TAP...TAP...TAP" but for the moment Soledad denies them. Finally, the little lucha drags her way to the cables and wraps a palm around the bottom one. "Ropes," she squeals. "Get her off, gringo pig." Despite being called bacon, the ref does his job, demanding Olivia release her grip on the mewling Soledad.
"You gonna let her mouth off to you like that?" Barker asks, but as attempts at misdirection go, it's not very effective. Soledad remains quite clearly trapped in the sharpshooter, and the official is not about to let himself get baited into prolonging the smart mouthed lucha's suffering any longer--as tempting as that thought might be.
"Ollllllliiiiiieee..."
"Okay, okay," the redhead replies with a sheepish grin, dropping Sanchez's legs before rising out of her crouch. Grabbing a handful of hair, the former Young American starts to back her way toward mid-ring, dragging La Hurrican along with her. Tugging the brunette back to verticality, Ollie dips and starts to shrug Soledad onto her shoulders, seemingly into a fireman's carry-- but Barker soon shuffles the brunette further down her back, lacing her left arm around Sanchez's neck. The good folks in the desert southwest had gotten to see her San Antonio Spur a few times, but this would be its debut in the FAWN Arena. But hopefully not its last appearance.

The little lucha, who'd raised her profile with an upset win over Wendy Smith not long ago, wriggles as she's strapped onto the busty Barker like a backpack. The Tex has Mex locked in place though, despite Soledad's best squirming. And when Olivia is good and ready, she slings Sanchez to one side, keeping her grip on the brunette's skull and dropping to the deck, STICKING her Spur into the canvas with a loud thumping collision that seems to send an electric shock through Soledad's frame.

Incredibly, Soledad summons enough energy from her reserves to kick loose, barely in time, but undeniably so.
No arguments are forthcoming from the redhead on top, Ollie clearly more annoyed than impressed by Sanchez's resiliency. The former tag champ brings La Hurrican back to her feet with a tug of her dark locks... and Soledad stuffs a punch into Barker's belly!
It's not the most powerful of blows, but it still backs the redhead up a step, giving the lovely latina enough space to launch a kick toward Olivia's ribs. This shot, however, is intercepted by the onetime Young American and pinned to her hip, leaving Soledad hopping on her remaining plant leg.
Keeping her foe's ankle in her possession, Ollie slips around behind her prey, then reaches around with her fee hand to claim Sanchez's calf. With any luck, her Lone Star Suplex would secure the curvaceous redhead her first victory as a solo competitor at the FAWN Arena since she and Polly were still BFFs.

Folding the leg of the increasingly ragged, dishevelled FAWN star in a right angle as she slips around to Soledad's six, Olivia uses her free arm and her power advantage over her fellow lightweight to lift the Mexican off her boot soles. Ollie sends Sanchez flying up and over and careening onto her head and shoulders. Barker bridges in order to keep Soledad stacked and jackknifed. "Ladies and gentlemen," the announcer declares once the bell has sounded, while Olivia tosses away Soledad's stem, allowing the ravaging latina to spill into a heap, "your winner, via pinfall... OLLLIIIVVVIIIAAA BAAARRRKKKEEERRR!!!!!"
The busty redhead climbs to feet, grinning from ear to ear as the official raises her arm. Man, she thinks, it had been SO damn long... And with Ollie definitely feeling heady, the redhead finds the nearest camera, and motions her hands across her tummy in opposing directions. "Polly," she says, prompting the FAWNatics to cheer that name for the first time in A LONG time. "You think you can keep that belt against someone who knows you better than anyone else? Well, THINK AGAIN, BYTCH!"
