Her father, owning a gym, trained her in weightlifting and sparring. She loved both, but
excelled in the prior. As she grew up, her tiny stature hid her impressive weightlifting prowess.
Able to snatch 150 pounds and jerk almost 180, Selia has surprised fans of weightlifting and,
more recently, heavier opponents who laughed off the diminutive woman.
Unlike most athletes in both of her chosen fields, Selia is shy around most people. She seldom
speaks loudly or aggressively and almost never smack talks. She also has the patience of a
Buddhist saint, often letting taunts and threats roll off her back. But bullies? Bullies might be
the only people Selia drops her cherubic demeanor for. Someone has to take them down a peg
