After a rare win from Demetria Andrews over some enhancement talent, FAWN’s broadcast cuts to a title card of a chibi Cassava Onika napping under the shade of a palm tree on a beach. The cartoon BMD champ snores blue bubble letter Z’s that ascend in the air to the title of this new segment written in Casking Cream script: Cassava’s Calm Corner.

Some easy listening pop music plays as the title card fades away to reveal a studio made to resemble some seaside resort. Drinking from a cut open pineapple with a straw is Cassava Onika, chilling in a rainbow-colored hammock suspended by two most likely artificial palm trees with an identical setup beside her. Both of them sway lightly with the air conditioning. On a fake stump nearby laid her pride and joy, the Buns of Mass Destruction Championship.
CASSAVA ONIKA
The Superfan finishes a long sip before setting down the cup with a satisfied sigh. “Aahhh. Hello, FAWNatics,” Cassava speaks in a calm and casual manner. “Welcome to my new talk show, Cassava’s Calm Corner.”
The BMD champ sweeps her non-dominant arm around her new environment, starting with her own body from the neck down to show off her floral patterned tankini top and matching short shorts. Letting an arm dangle toward the floor covered by a thin layer of sand, Onika speaks to the camera.
“We all know it’s been pretty rough this year and the last, and everybody could use a break. So, that’s what this show will be, a place where two of your favorite wrestling stars can hang out, chill, and have a little stress-free fun. Doesn’t that sound nice?”
The chocolate chilled version of Cassava works herself up by the elbows, giving the viewers a nice show of her rolling chest. “Now to keep things interesting, I gave management a list of names for my first interview, and I made them keep their choice a secret from me so that nothing feels rehearsed. Oh!” Cassava points her nose over the cameraman’s shoulder to a wall where copies of match listings are posted. “I think I see her now.”
The surprise guest had her back to the host and cameraman, not expecting to be recorded till she stepped on set. She is reading a copy of scheduled house matches posted on the wall, one of several throughout the building. As she feels the audience’s gaze at her back, she straightens up. Onika’s gaze is fixed slightly lower, transfixed by the stranger’s heavenly hindquarters wrapped in a tight, white, mini dress. She turns to look over her shoulder indirectly and effortlessly executes a hair toss of the highest caliber shampoo commercial. Her hair is a cascading wave of hazel that reveals the beautiful face of...
ALOISIA BERGE
Cassava feels her knees go weak and an irresistible and uncontrollable urge to blurt out, “ILuvu!”
Aloisia raises an eyebrow, not understanding The Superfan’s stream of consciousness. She politely asks for clarification with an alluring German accent. “I’m sorry?”
Redding in the face, Cassava tries to move past her faux pax and waves Aloisia over to join her in the guest hammock. “I-I mean I love that you’re my first guest! Come join me!”
Charmed by the host’s giddiness, Aloisia smiles, and Cassva’s heart skips a beat. Dr. Aloisia Berge walks over to the neighboring set of trees. Each step is a mesmerizing wave of motion that Cassava will watch on repeat later that night at home, particularly those that travel the wide expanse of the doctor’s bosom on display through the opening in her dress, just wide enough to be considered daring in a highly fashionable sense.
Standing between the guest hammock and Cassava’s own, Aloisia’s hands tentatively reach forward then pull back cautiously. Even with her brilliant mind, she can’t visualize a way to get into the seat without flashing everyone in the room.
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t informed on the nature of the set,” Berge explains, tilting her head in a sheepish manner that Onika finds adorable. “I don’t think I can get into this on my own…” She tugs on the hem of her skirt to silently implicate her worries.
Onika’s gaze lingers on Berge’s silky thighs a beat too long before clumsily climbing out of her hammock as fast as possible. Flustered like a schoolgirl at a dance, Cassava nearly falls on her face as she dismounts, landing on the wrong side in the process. Still, she scurries around the footboard tree to Aloisia. Cassava’s about to suggest she gets down on all fours so the statuesque Polynesian woman could step on her. So that Aloisia could get in the hammock not for… other reasons.
Aloisia nods her approval as Cassava lowers herself to a knee on the sandy ground. “Ah, good idea!” she says and raises a sensible but sexy heel before The Superfan can speak, assuming that the younger star is offering to give her a boost into the hammock by pushing up on her foot, like a normal person.
Cassava almost objects to this but her eyes trail up the looonng leg that would shame most runway models, and the words fizzle in her mouth. Interlacing her fingers under the doctor’s heel, Cassava lifts Aloisia into the hammock somewhat smoothly with the most lady-like grunt she can manage. With a few adjusting shimmies, the gorgeous German settles into a comfortable position, then Berge reaches over and gives Onika’s hand a light touch, giving the host gooseflesh. “Thank you.”
The infatuated girl squeaks out a “You’re welcome!” and slips back in her seat with little trouble. Composing herself, Cassava starts playing host again. “Alright, welcome to the show. Cassava’s Calm Corner! Debut episode and our first guest! For our newer fans, would you like to reintroduce yourself?”
With a demure expression, Aloisia gives newer FAWNatics a summary of her history. “I would, thank you. I am Dr. Aloisia Berge. I am of Hawaiian ethnicity, born in Honolulu but raised in Munich, Germany. I have a PhD in Hoplology, specifically the study of combative behavior with a focus on sports. You know, its history and its influence on history, and how fighting styles originate, evolve, and diversify.”
Cassava’s eyes widen with interest. Enraptured, she asks, “That's so cool… did the studies lead you to fight or the opposite?”
Alosia sits up higher in the hammock. It was rare she was asked about the subtleties of her academic pursuits. “I was trained to box by my father, adoptive father to be specific. This seeded curiosities about martial arts and the mindsets of those that practice. I boxed and wrestled for most of my school life and dabbled in other forms of fighting for some first-hand experience. I still publish papers today based on what I learn throughout my professional wrestling career.”
The Superfan is swiftly becoming a super fan of this battling beauty of academia. “I would so watch an anime about you. You’re a franchise in the making.”
Aloisia stifles a laugh, Onika’ energy and outgoing attitude reminded her of Kelli Love. She hadn’t been around the last few months, filming a real-play DND show for a streaming service, and Aloisia missed her greatly.
Cassava looks into the camera. “We’re going to post some links to access some of those papers when this episode goes up.” With that note to the audience, she turns her attention back to Berge. “Your research led you to wrestle in a few promotions around the world before coming to FAWN, am I correct?”
Berge affirms, “Yes, that’s right.”
“FAWN is at a point where a lot of the current talent benefits from training from the previous generation of FAWN stars,” Cassava continues, “or the system connected to the company. You came from outside that bubble. What would you say are some of your career highlights before coming to Florida?”
Pursing her lips, Berge thinks on that a moment. The head office tends to downplay unaffiliated promotions so that was another rare ask. “I wrestled in some smaller promotions in South America and Asia. I had some great matches there with some talented women. I won a tag team championship in Brazil, a tournament in Argentina, the Southern American title in Venezuela. Before FAWN, I had a great run in Germany across a few promotions, and I was honored to wear gold in my home country as well.”
Berge tilts her head back lost in memory. “I had a long but friendly rivalry with a rookie Victoria Hackenschmidt. We traded wins, but it was always professional. Any violence was between the bells, and there was always respect.”
Cassava senses something in Berge’s tone and gently pushes further, “Sounds like that’s become a sticking issue for you since you began wrestling in the US.”
Aloisia weighs possible responses in her head before answering. “I have faced unscrupulous and manipulative people before FAWN. There’s always an unsavory element in any sport, but in FAWN’s case, this behavior seems to be… celebrated.”
Cassava purses her lips and nods slowly, her overall bright energy dimming and replaced with something darker. “I completely understand. CERTAIN people in management like to exploit the worst parts of humanity to grab attention rather than reward talent, effort, or just respect professionalism.”
Aloisia silently agrees, the two sharing a knowing look that says their thinking of the same person, FAWN‘s matriarch Bethany Christian.
Cassava looks back to that camera, embodying the role of televised host once again.
“We’ll be cutting away to the next match which will be Trixie Decker taking on Maria Alves in a submission match. After that, you’ll be coming back to The Corner where Aloisia and will be discussing a hotly debated hypothetical scenario: You’ve been asked out on a date by Shea London and Sammie Sinclair on the same night. Who do you go out with? Byyeee!”
Cassava waves farewell to the viewing FAWNatics as Aloisia rubs her chin in deep thought. mentally running through various simulations of each scenario.
