Cut to an empty boxing gym, lit only by a single light. A feminine figure walks into the light. She is wearing a hooded black jacket with blue and silver trim and gym shorts with wrestling shoes and kick pads. Her face is obscured by the hood as she walks over to a hanging heavy bag as a familiar woman’s voice plays over the scene.
“I came to FAWN almost two years ago.” the voice begins as the figure begins working over the heavy bag with a variety of martial arts-style kicks and strikes. “In that time, I’ve grown as a wrestler, a fighter, a person. I’ve made wonderful friends,” she punches the heavy bag so hard it flies off the now-broken chain, a fist-sized impression now visible. Cut to a shot of the hooded woman’s scowling eyes as the voice continues, “and bitter enemies.”
Pan to the ring, where the mystery woman is standing on the apron, preparing to enter. As the disembodied voice begins anew, she pulls back on the top rope, going into a crouch. “I’ve experienced triumphs and setbacks alike.” She then leaps to the top rope, using it as a springboard to propel her into the ring. She twists and turns in mid air, landing with a punch to the mat in a kneeling stance. “And through it all,” the voice continues, “the fans have been by my side, cheering me on.”
She walks over to a corner, slapping the top turnbuckle before beginning her climb to the top. “I’ve had a number of nicknames thrown my way, both positive and derogatory.” She reaches the top and pulls herself to full height. “And I’ve managed to throw all of the negativity back in my haters’ faces.” Zoom in on the woman’s eyes again, looking determined before they close in anticipation of what she’s about to do. “And if people want to call me the “Bad Luck Dragon”, I’ll throw that in their faces too.” She then leaps off the top in a familiar maneuver, as Halestorm’s “Black Vultures” plays in the background.

Close up on the woman’s face, her lips parted in a satisfied grin. She pulls the hood back to reveal Kanako Akiyama.
“My name is Kanako Akiyama,” pan to the back of the Modern Day Ronin’s jacket, “and I have no fear!” In very large print, a red number zero takes up the majority of the jacket’s back. Underneath the zero is the word “FEAR”, also in red.
Fade to black.
