Name: Riley Shayne
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 117lbs
Hometown: Boulder, CO Fighting Attire: Aqua blue two piece, white pads and boots.
Heel/Face: Face
Gimmick: Backyarder going legit
Fighting Style: Backyarder—excels at high spots, but a bit shaky on the fundamentals at this point
Finishing Move:
Rocky Mountain High (Shooting Star Press)
Colorado Avalnache (The Suicide)
Description:
They say you have to learn to crawl before you can walk. Well, rumor has it Riley Shayne
was performing moonsaults before she could crawl.
The only girl out of 7 children, Riley’s always been a bit of a tomboy—and always been an extreme
physical child, enjoying running, baseball, gymnastics… and roughhousing. When she was 14, two of
her brothers started a backyard wrestling fed. Initially, Riley only served as a valet. But when one of
her brothers was jumped, she rushed to his defense—and ran the offender off. From there, Shayne
started getting matches.
And was winning about as often as she lost against the boys.
By 17, Riley had worked her way up to the upper half of her brother’s cards—and had also developed a
desire to make a life out of what she was doing. So Shayne started sending out home-burned DVDs of
her highlight reel. And soon enough, one of those discs found its way into the hands of a FAWN scout.
While Riley was judged as rather green at the moment, enough raw potential was seen in her to extend
a developmental deal.
