Autumn Sammain
Match Archive
Name: Autumn Sammain
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 132lbs
Hometown: Unknown. Raised primarily in
Tokyo, Japan
Physical Description: Look up 'lissome' in the dictionary and you'll probably find Autumn's picture.
Slender but strong, you don't have to see her kick anyone's chin through the back of their skull to know
she could do it without batting an eye. Her hair's a very dark brown and reaches to just past her
shoulders. Eye's are the same shade and just as quick as the rest of her, Sammain always seems to be
scouting her surroundings for the next five possible ways to batter her opponent.
Fighting Attire: Jade sports-bra style top that leaves several inches of midriff bare. Matching bikini
bottoms that are partly obscured by a black and green joshi style 'skirt' that hangs to mid thigh. Look is
completed with black kneepads, matching boots and fingerless green gloves that reach to just below her
elbows.
Heel/Face: Heel, but not so much a traditional rule-breaker, she holds American grapplers in... well, is
there a stronger word than contempt? Gimmick: The most dangerous gaijin in recent memory comes
to FAWN
Finishing Moves:
Autumn Rain (Belly-to-Back Suplex lift to Piledriver)
Autumn Dreams (Human Knot w/ Rear Naked Choke)
Common Moves:
1) Single Underhook Snap Suplex
2) Leg Swing DDT
3) Exploder
4) Dragon Suplex
5) Tiger Driver
6) Wakigatame (Fujiwara Armbar)
7) Sankakujime (Triangle Choke)
8) Jujigatame (Cross Armbreaker)
9) Sasorigatame (Sharpshooter)
10) Super Kick
11) Original Shining Wizard
12) Yakuza Kick
13) Moonsault
14) Missile Dropkick
15) Phoenix Splash
Signature Moves:
1) Autumn Storm (Spinning Falcon Arrow)
2) Autumn Chill (Wrist-Clutch Fisherman's Buster)
3) Autumn's Thrall
Description:
Abandoned by her parents as an infant, the young woman who would come to call herself Autumn
Sammain was quite literally ‘born’ into the wrestling business. Left on the doorstep of a highly
respected ‘joshi’ academy, the child was taken in by the school’s staff and thusly she grew up alongside
several classes worth of Japan’s most promising female talents.
Taking to the ring with a zeal and intensity that often bordered on the frightening, Autumn was running
drills at twelve, teaching them at fourteen and at the center of a bidding war between every Joshi fed in
Japan when she turned eighteen. But despite growing up in and around Tokyo, it should be noted that
Sammain is not of Japanese decent, thusly she was labeled ‘gaijin’ (foreigner) by other students at the
schhol and while she was not treated any differently for it, she nonetheless felt isolated from her peers.
This in turn led to her developing a deep, simmering hatred for other gaijin wrestlers, especially those
from America where she fears she herself may be from.
Normally cool and calm in the ring, in the presence of an American or even an ‘Americanized’
grappler, Sammain will be utterly ruthless in her quest to defeat her foe, thereby (in her eyes anyway)
proving the superiority of the Joshi style of which she is so proud. During her meteoric rise to top of
the Japanese wrestling scene, Autumn would occasionally take shots at the organization she thought
most exemplified everything that was wrong with women’s wrestling and that organization was FAWN.
All of Sammain’s open challenges to FAWN talent went unanswered, but eventually her fiery contempt
and undeniable in-ring style resulted in a letter from none other than Anciline de Cyr.
In said letter, the executive offered Autumn an intriguing opportunity -- stroll right into the belly of the
beast to punish any and all she deemed unworthy of the title ‘wrestler’. Jumping at the chance, she
finished her commitments in Japan, flew to Orlando and immediately signed a contract. Now, Autumn
Sammain has a whole new audience to impress... and a whole list of superstars that are going to find
out just what 'real' wrestling is all about.
