Description:
When she first came to the States, Cassie had very little in the way of in ring experience, but she's been
very athletic for most of her life, competing in girl's football and rugby from a young age. She entered
wrestling as a new challenge, competing in a couple of small feds in her native UK. This was where
she caught the eye of Shea London, while Shea was home on a sabbatical from Battling Ring Angels.
London saw the promise in her, and decided to bring Cassie with her across the Atlantic when she
returned to BRA, figuring she would learn more against the best than she would in the smaller
European organizations.
And learn Cassie did, surprisingly quickly. Though initially more a tag specialist alongside her friend
and mentor, Cassie eventually established herself as a serious singles threat in her own right, becoming
the last woman to hold the Battling Ring Angels world championship. But when BRA closed up shop, a
homesick Cassie returned to the UK, entertaining dreams of using her newfound stardom to boost the
European scene.
She remained successful as a competitor--and even further refined her skills--but with the smaller
paychecks and smaller attendence levels, the experience was not nearly as satisfying as she had hoped
it would be. The tide started to turn a few months ago, when she became the Royal Wrestling
Association's European champion--an occasion after which she immediately flew to the States to share
with Shea. However, that trip lead to a run-in with an old acquaintance from her days in BRA, Chrissy
Daniel, and the challenge for an interpromotional fight. It was a challenge Cassie accepted, and alas, it
was a match that Cassie proved unable to win.
Losing that match--and, in particular, the way in which she lost that match--has driven Cassie to put her
European career on hold and return to United States.
