STYLE: Technician, primarily. She knows the rulebook inside and out--how better to break it?--but she also possesses considerable strength for her size.

BACKGROUND:
If ever a woman was born to be a part of FAWN, it was Avery Christian.
Born in Kyoto, Japan--which she INSISTS on being billed as her hometown--Avery moved to the United States at the age of 6 when her mother, Bethany Christian, was offered the job as the chief executive of FAWN. Avery soon became a fixture around the offices and the gym, especially during the summer months. And when she learned that her mother’s full-time in-ring career had ended in part due to Bethany’s pregnancy with her, Avery decided that wrestling was what she wanted to do for a living.
Bethany supported her child’s decision, though naturally she did everything she could to screen the FAWN product that Avery witnessed, ESPECIALLY as a younger child. She also made Avery’s wrestling training conditional on her performance in school. Rather than bristle or get her nose out of joint about that, Avery worked hard in the classroom as well as the gym, finishing high school a year early and getting in some college courses as well. That was enough for her mother to give her blessing to Avery turning pro at the age of 18.
Avery is, as you might expect from the above, a very intelligent young girl. She’s also very kind and generous, away from the ring. Growing up, like most young girls she was a huge fan of Shea London and Kylie Sanders (much to her mother’s chagrin), and even struck up a bit of a friendship with Krystal Erway. But the closer she came to being able to join FAWN, the closer she came to a realization: no matter how nice or how sweet she might be, there was NO way the FAWNatics would embrace the daughter of Bethany Christian, certainly not right at the start of her career, when that would be the ONLY thing most fans knew about her.
That realization was actually somewhat liberating for Avery. Free of feeling the need to pursue the adulation of the audience, she could cut every corner and break every rule to her heart’s content--and not just because she could be confident in the support of the executive office. The irony is that, as is so often the case with the best heels, she has no need of cutting corners--she is both athletic, knowledgeable and powerful. Bethany has had a very direct hand in Avery’s training, teaching her daughter nearly everything that the CEO herself knows. And while Avery might not have been blessed with her mother’s height, nearly every other trait she possesses has made her a fitting heir to Bethany’s wrestling legacy, and leaves her poised to be the powerhouse of the Lightweight division.
