Hi there!
We've been thinking about adding something for the FAWNatics. There are only a few of you here so far, so for now lets start with a thread.
if you're not a writer, but you're registered here this is for you.
Some things you may want to post:
Your top 10 FAWN wrestlers Favorite Matches - both the style of match and which pairings you've liked. Create a sign - tell us what's on your sign and we'll try working it into a story or several stories. Any questions about FAWN. And anything else you can think of.
See how many answers we get.

Dognose Picks!: Top 10 Faces/Heels.I decided to divide my top 10 list into two lists of five, one for Faces and one for Heels. This list does not represent who I think is the best superstar or best wrestler, only current favorites. *Caveat: narrowing the list down to five for each category was difficult as I love all the FAWN ladies, with that out of the way, here we go! Faces:
5. Erin Price: I can very well see Erin moving up my list, one reason she is not higher is her lack of matches so far. However, a face with Miriam like tendencies? Yes, please!
4. Olivia Dare: Olivia is a very strong contender. Technically sound and able to get catty when needed, Olivia can take on about anyone. When an opponent does out dirty her, well... there is a sick part of me that enjoys seeing a wrestler with superior raw skill neutralized by an equalizing cheap shot.
3. Kerri Paige: Kerri Paige seems to have taken on the mission of beating up all of the cattier superstars and cleaning up FAWN. This combined with the absolute indigence Kerri has when an opponent works her soft spots makes for some entertaining matches.
2. Wendy Smith: Wendy Smith is a beefy wrestler that can toss the other girls from one end of the ring to the other with her suite of suplexes. Wendy does come with a weakness, opponents like to neutralize her strength by attacking her breasts and that interplay is fun to watch.
1. Samantha Sinclair: Samm is a lot like an ultra babyface version of Kerri in that she has made it her mission to take out the bullies of FAWN. The difference between her and Paige is Samantha brings an army of the babiest of faces with her. She seems to be so fragile, but those who make the mistake of thinking that to be true will be found scratching their heads as she Sammy gets the 1-2-3. Sinclair is so innocent and pure, when she goes against the mean girls (Donna comes to mind) I get a little squirmy over the potential bad things that could happen to her during such a match, the suspense makes for an edge-of-your-seat experience.
Heals:
5. Cassidy Woolridge: Wishbone crotch claw. Nuff said.
4. Alana Kash: Yeah, I know that she is a tweener, but I feel that she has enough heal tendencies to include her in this list. I really like sneakiness in my heals and Kash has it in spades...pun intended. I just like her personality, she's mischievous and pushes the boundaries of what she can get away with. I very much enjoyed her series with Maggie Connor and more recently her tag team push with Beth.
3. Donna Dunbar: A must in my list. Donna is the current generation's reincarnation of one of my favorite FAWN dynasties, the Dirty Dennehys. Donna makes no secret about how she plans on defeating her opponents. Dunbar is as dirty a brawler as can be and when you have an itch for a nasty donnybrook, you know she will scratch it.
2. Lisa Dream: LOL...Ah... Lisa Dream. She is a wrestler that always makes you ask, "what is she up to this time?" I always felt that Dream was like the "evil" Olivia Dare, versatile, and capable of taking down a wrestler of any size or style. Provided her own head doesn't get in the way. Flawed characters (though not her her mind!) are interesting to me and Lisa is her own worst enemy, her arrogance as proved her undoing on many situations. She is vindictive and clever and both often come together in the ring when an opponent is proving reluctant to just lie down and concede to Lisa's perfection, usually accompanied by some excellent quotables. Now that Celia has taken an interest in Lisa, she has become more dangerous than ever. The Dream with focus is a scary thing indeed. If she ever asks you to hold her mic for her, run away. Just ask Kylie.
1. Miriam Giaman: Anyone who knows me should not be surprised to see the "ethereal one" head this list. Miriam is the personification of the darker side of FAWN. No superstar on the roster can better take advantage of her opponents erogenous zones, punishing them in the most intimately painful way. And all the while doing so in a sexy playful manner. No one makes you feel more unconformable in your own skin than Miriam. She *will* get under your skin, and heaven help you when she does.

Excellent idea and I like breaking up the Top 10 into Faces/Heels!
Top Faces 5 Sammie Sinclair 4 Maeve Kane (I know she's switched sides before) 3 Juliet Bloodwind 2 Wendy Smith 1 Jenny Jacobs
Top Heels 5 Sayuki Matsumoto (maybe related to the principle owner of BRA? XD) 4 Donna Dunbar 3 Lakeisha Bates 2 Ivy Armstrong 1 Kylie Sanders
There's really a ton that's been left out like Rue Ann, half of the Upstart Nation, Shea, Chrissy Daniels, La Gata, Hailey, Ingrid, Polly, Trisha Belle, Emily West and some more. There's a few I don't like, but that would be unkind. XD
One of my favorite matches of late was Emily vs Kendra. I didn't think Kendra had a chance in hell, but it was a fantastic match. Jenny vs Lakisha was a good one. Maeve vs Sayuki was grand. Sammie's matches with Donna and Polly were fantastic. The Frighteners, while have the best tag team name of all, also have great matches.

I know right? it was painful to reduce the list to so few.

I know right? it was painful to reduce the list to so few. And yet youse have made a awesome job of doing so, much deserving of a *hugs* XD I has it on good authority that Samantha Sinclair also approves of your choices *nod* I can't imagine why... X3

Top Heels 5 Sayuki Matsumoto (maybe related to the principle owner of BRA? XD) OOOOOO... Sammie hears rumours, Sammie make enquires... And great choices! Might need to take the magic marker off Sinclair though, she's pondering over the placements of one and two on the Face list.

Hey all,
Given I've been reading the various incarnations of FAWN for such a long time it seems only fair that I finally say thanks for the effort everyone puts in. The volume and quality of the writing is great, so thanks!
As far as feedback; I'm sure every reader has their opinions, but I think ultimately you guys should write to please yourselves rather than your readership. Still, since you asked.
Top 10 Wrestlers:
Modeste Reaux - I like Taylor Momsen and I like 90's cartoon X-Man Gambit, so it probably makes sense I like Modeste.
Ashley Locke - Again, partly because of Blake Lively, but there have also been some cool little allusions to an interesting past.
Veronica Tremayne - I'm typically not a fan of the gimmicky stuff, but VT's is quite fun and isn't played seriously, and more importantly she has good matches with just about anyone.
Shea London - One of the many FAWN veterans to have so much cool history she can bounce in an out of the picture and it still works.
Portia VanBuren - You can't really do the rich bitch thing better than this, I don't think.
Gretchen Vaughan - Surely has the best collection of descriptions on the roster. Her relationship with Portia is wonderful.
Sue Burlingame - Partly because of Jessica Alba, but also because she's consistently in some of the most fun feuds in FAWN.
Scandalous - I'm cheating in naming a tag team, but they are truly fantastic mean girls. If it eventually turns sour between them the verbals alone could sell a show.
Calliope - Eve's retrieval of her friend was such a great storyline.
Cynthia Mitchell - The Platonic ideal of the good girl gone bad. Fingers crossed she has another dominant run in her.
Thanks again!

First off, on behalf of Miri, Jules, LK, Shea and Cynthia, I thank you all for their support... :-)
I debated for a while whether to contribute my own list here. After all, this is meant to be a "fan" thread, and I don't wanna feel like one of the writers wading in and trying to take over. But writers can be fans, too... :-) And for my list, I made the conscious decision to exclude characters I either currently run or previously originated...
FACES: 5) Wendy Smith--really, what can be said that hasn't already? I know she's been here a while already, but could easily be FAWN's franchise face for the next 10 years. 4) Riuil Kanes--Maeve and Moira are a flexible sort, and I know the Mitchells are casting cock-eyed glances my direction for putting them under this category. But those Irish rogues are just beguiling. 3) Eve Choldstone--I'm a sucker for a not particularly repentant bad girl fighting alongside the angels... 2) Eliza Bliss--I'm also a sucker for a repentant bad girl who has found her way. :-) 1) Sammie Sinclair--With Kylie's defection to the Dark Side, there is no greater ambassador for truth, justice, and cake.
Honorable Mentions: Chloe Fields, Ingrid Halstrom, Jenny Jacobs, Kelli Love, Veronica Treymane
HEELS: 5) Rue Ann MacKenna--Hawt and nuts. A good, wicked combination. 4) Adelaide Brewster--Belts are in her future. Many, many belts. Star in the making. 3) Sayuki Matsumoto--Cornerstone of the Invasion. Needs to return to our shores. 2) Ivy Armstrong--Legend. Still has another good run or two left in her, I'm certain. 1) Kylie Sanders--for years, I said her turning would be bigger than Hogan. And I've no qualms saying, told you so! :-P
Dishonorable Mentions: Susan Burlingame, Erika Eisenberg, Lenore LeMarchand, Portia VanBuren, Miranda Wainright

Love to see the fans' Top Ten. Fascinating to see the wide range. I'll add my own for fun, of course eliminating any of my own wrestlers.
Heels:
Dishonorable Mention: Gabby Mendoza: More of what I think she could do than has done. She can get that gum in a lot of places over the upcoming years and force some of the old guard out with pink goo in their everywhere in the process.
5) Ivy Armstrong - This redheaded honeychild can be the dirtiest player in the game when she's of the mind. Add the steel she uses in the form of her ivory-skinned legs to neutralize foes and there's a red flag everyone has to take seriously.
4) Pandora - It has to be downright intimidating to face her when the bell rings. I mean what do you do with her? And how easy must it be to imagine what she can do to you? You're fighting a psychological deficit right out of the box only to face the physical when you get in. And of course she has the willingness to make your life hell in whatever power-packed way she chooses.
3) Emily West - Kylie's got a lot of people who've made her life miserable and turned her from sweet to sour and the Black Queen might be at the top. Who likes someone who thinks they're running the show and who just might be? Her ability to manipulate top talent for her own ends is unparalleled. Can anyone see a Courtier turning on Emily? I can't.
2) Cynthia Mitchell - OK. So maybe Cynthia has made Kylie's life more miserable at least in explosive bursts (read: in matches). Aggravating to all of FAWNdom she turned out to be right in going bad. Everything she said she'd do, she did. Her choices made her a star, a superstar for a time. Of course, she was eventually overshadowed by a certain Hawkeye, but if you believe she'll let that stand...I've got a Bridge to sell you.
1) Susan Burlingame - Emily may be the driver of the Black Court, but she's not going anywhere without the engine. Burlingame is the woman who makes that group purr. She matches up with anybody physically, mentally, psychologically. She knows how faces think and knows how to exploit them. She'll do anything she wants and get away with it. Does she let Emily THINK she's in charge while actually being in charge herself? Very possibly. Or perhaps she wants Emily there to take care of the 'paperwork' of the Court so she can stay more hands-on in outwrestling and, more simply, beating up people.
Faces:
Honorable Mention: Maeve Kane - Who doesn't love a feisty, auburn-haired Irishwoman? Not me. The fact she can cut a few corners probably kept her from making the Top Five, but anyone who traces their origins back to the Emerald Isle can't help but pull for Maeve. Singles' title contention (if not titles) are out there waiting to be claimed and that will only expand her fan base.
5) Lily Burlingame/Cherry Bomb - Did anyone else think Cherry might really be an alien when the mask came off? How can she defy gravity like that if not? Beating a jingoistic jerk like Polly Lockwood won't hurt your face cred. And there's only added momentum for this lightweight goldholder after transferring to unmasked status. She's a Burlingame and cute as a bug. Tell me you don't want to hug her? I know Polly does.
4) Nyssa Bloodwind - Juliet may have a more successful career, but who's a better face? In my eyes, Nyssa. She has the never-say-die attitude that you need and the ability to convert that attitude into wins. See two-time former lightweight champ and tag champ. She is unswervable in her goodness and is always ready to teach heels that light is better than dark in the short and long run.
3) Sammie Sinclair - Sammie exploded onto the FAWN scene relatively recently but has anyone been a more shining and successful paragon of virtue and snugableness than Miss Sinclair? Leader of the Upstart Nation, Sammie runs rings around her foes and is the leader the most face-iest of factions needs to survive. I believe if there is someone every heel would like to smash into pixie dust it might very well be Sammie.
2) Wendy Smith - Power in lightweight form. Loved and respected...and likely most feared among many heels. She has all the tools and isn't afraid to get down in the dirt if pushed and the crowd loves her for that. Has the history, the pedigree, the body, the moral compass. Could be a future Hall-of-Famer.
1) Shea London - A future Hall-of-Famer. A future first ballot Hall-of-Famer. The future FIRST Hall-of-Famer. Nobody touches her credentials on the mat. She's helped build so many careers and been the foil for so many. An original, she gave the organization instant credibility and remains the steadfast epitome of athleticism, fight, and class. Who FAWN faces dream of being.

Hey guys! I wanted to leave a quick post, I have been away from the boards for a while I have a lot to catch up on! I *finally* moved into my new house, I was in a limbo status between homes for a while and internet was not an option (So many withdraws!) But now that we have closed and our internet infrastructure is in place I can start making posts again. The good news is I have a few house shows and PPV's that have build up that I can binge read. I will leave my thoughts as I catch up.

XD I hopes youse enjoys your new home, and have made it comfortable with plenty of pillows, just as I hope you enjoy all of the FAWN action available to catch up on *nod* On a semi-related note, I has been a little bit absent myself as of late after I took a pratfall over one of Baby Bear's toys and brocked my wrist ((shows you!!)), it was all very dramatic, but aside from wearing a cast for a few more weeks, I am otherwise fit and healthy. *nod*

Hi all I'd read FAWN for a long time until a few years ago and rediscovered it over the last week or so. I'd forgotten how great this all was so have spent a good bit of time catching up, and wanted to say thanks to everyone who creates this. My top 5s would have been VERY different when I was reading a few years ago, but as of right now these would be my thoughts: FACES
Honorable mentions: Maddy Crane, Maggie Connor, Worlds Best Brits
5. Veronica Treymayne. My favourite thing about her is that the gimmick is almost totally unrelated to the complex emotional backstory around her but it still works much better than it should. She's fun in matches, a great fan-favourite face, and yet the hints of joining the dark side with VB&A are perfectly believable.
4. Jenny Jacobs. Obviously everyone loves her, and after the way Sydney Deschain talked her up I'd see her as being possibly the best placed face for the big title.
3. Olivia Dare. English old-money shouldn't work so well for a face, but it fits her beautifully. Her history makes her a legitimate threat to anyone, she can go catty with the best of them, but she still maintains dignity and integrity. The series with Lemarchand is the best thing I've read since rediscovering FAWN and I'm sad (if not surprised) she couldn't overcome the odds for a second title run. Plus points for the awesome Dr Who nickname and even more awesome tag team name.
2. Autumn Sammain. I guess she counts as a face? I'm a big fan of Joshi and Autumn embodies it perfectly, stiff, strong, and vicious as any heel. She's also about as real of a character as any in FAWN, and her decisions and emotions all make sense to me. I'm hoping she's going to come back into the picture in a big way soon, possibly in a classic against this next lady:
1. Lily Burlingame/Cherry Bomb. I love the way the storyline worked around the Bomb for the big reveal, and Lily's matches are great to read. Burlingame family confidence, skill, and smart mouth in a tiny but uber-quick lucha is an awesome combo. She's done such a good job with the LW title that I'd bet Sue is a tad worried about family bragging rights.
HEELS:
Honorable mentions: Portia Ophelia VanBuren IV and her associates, Barely Legal (I love Gabby's gum trick), Claudia Rooney
5. Lisa Dream. She has this amazing ability to ruin matchups that I think are great, insert herself or her minders into situations which are headed for a great resolution, and come out with wins when everything says she shouldn't. She also seems to just keep getting away with it, and no-one has really truly got the better of her in a long while. I hate her for it, but she's a great heel.
4. Sue Burlingame. As noted I love the family, but I also love the Black Court. Sue's history makes her arguably the biggest name in the court and she will surely be at least a three-time champ at some point. She's a threat to anyone, works against faces or heels, and can take a humiliating pounding then bounce right back. Even though she's clearly a heel I still always want her to win.
3. Kylie Sanders. Ky's been the hub around which FAWN revolves since the beginning and the heel turn and title run then loss means she's still just as fresh as ever. I can't wait to see what happens next. Is she going after Portia or slinking into her shadow, will she ever resolve the weird thing with Emily West, and is there a redemption coming?
2.Emily West. Black Court reference #2, Emily is pretty much the architect of most of the awesome stuff I've been reading since rediscovering FAWN. She's created a dominant faction but still manages to keep enough veneer of morality or respect that her talk of the greater good is almost believable. I'd love to know how she's convinced two former champs to bow to her (and each other) and how long she can keep the whole thing together. And then there's the lady she's unleashed on the FAWNiverse:
1. Lenore Lemarchand. In a faction with three former world champs and some of the most dominant women in FAWN I still find myself wondering if the Raven isn't the real power in the Court. Lenore does a great job of being emilys eyes and voice with the others, but after beating Dare and getting her endorsement on top of her list of scalps she's got to be in the main event discussion, and she's now good enough both psychologically and in-ring to threaten anyone. What's more she's done all this clean and, crucially, without needing help from her stablemates (beyond West's background guidance). The fans recognize this, hence her being more tweener than heel, and I wouldn't be surprised if Emily comes to regret making Lenore into the Raven she has become.
Thanks again all.
